Ctschurman Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Title kind of explains it all...does anyone have any tips for me? I recently bought a cummerbund set and it easily folds down the center like a....yeah. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chopper Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Is the bund and cod connected as a single piece, or are they two separate parts? The most common issue is that the cod is positioned too low and then folks pull it between the legs with the strap. This causes the dreaded toe effect. Show us some photos and we'll take a look.
Ctschurman Posted February 3, 2019 Author Posted February 3, 2019 I’ll post some pictures later. I should have done that in the first place haha. But it’s two pieces. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BikerScout007 Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 It helps to have a fabric stabilizer inside of it. The screen ones used buckram. Which is what hat brims are made from. If there is just batting in there it will fold. And like Chopper said, keep the cod strap loose. 1
Aliaz Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Also make sure it sits infront of your crotch. It should not go between your legs. 3

Ketchup Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 As a thick-thigh lady, great advice here. Make sure the cod does not go between your legs, is not pulled tight, and has some sort of reinforcement. (I use 3 mm EVA foam in mine, works great!) 2
Lawless Scout Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 All great notes indeed! I use the thick fabric stiffener found at most fabric stores. I also did a double stitch at bottom where the elastic is sewn into the cod for just a tad bit more stiffness. I just did this one and pretty happy with how it sits.
