Whiskeys scout build (almost there...)

Just did the unthinkable

Airbrushed the soles of the boots to make the strips match in color

The lighting makes it look dark here (bad lighting), but it matches the actual color.

The wrinkles of the cap goes away when filled

Really great work there, man. Seriously. Those are some of the best looking boots I've seen in a long time.

Still need to weather once the holster arrives. I need it to be consistent either the weathering from RS

Right on. I ended up ordering mine unweathered for the same reason.

Anyone have clear images of the mandarin collar?

Looking for just screenshots, production/behind the scenes photos, costume tours, etc.

Already saw the motm scout, and that does not have one.

Did you not get an RS blaster ? They are the perfect screen accurate size . The singlepoint red dot sight HAS to be exact size , the reason the red dot sight has The top crosshairs adjuster cap un screwed becomes obvious if you try a correct size blaster ..... it won't sit in straight with the cap screwed on !!!!! Lol.

Unfortunately, I did not.  Was hoping it was going to be available again at a later date.

Lol it was 5:30am when I saw the scouts go online and was a bit groggy 🥴

Finished a successful troop this morning

Back down to it

I installed the holster and just finished the weathering the boots

Have my vest from Chef ready

Cheesewhoppy bund needs to be slightly weathered and I’m finally ready for a complete suit up

Was really hesitant on doing this, but felt it was necessary.

Each part is individually stamped and was worried I could’ve ruined one

The thermal detonator needed to have that slight curve to contour ones back

Turned out well

Just one thing left to do and I’m done 😉

Did you need to heat bend the det tube?

Not yet.

Options:

1) Going to hit it with my heat gun in the center

2) cut and trim and glue with an angle

3) replace the tube entirely with wrapped wire

I have black zip ties, just not the correct ones. I need to pick that up today.

Now that I think about it, what I meant was...when you cut the curve, the tube should be bent back more or it will interfere with the belt and will be exposed more.

By bending the tube back, it can seem more flushed.

First suit up

Taking a pic by myself with my phone proved to be harder than I thought.

Will need to do a few adjustments like pull up the cod and pull up the belt boxes and buckle and pull up the boots, etc

On the plus side, it’s graininess makes it look like an actual old production photo 🤣
