Patrol Trooper CRL design group

This may be a rookie couple of questions but I’m going to give it a shot. Where do we see the whole CRL right now or the progress? And do we know how close we are?

Isn’t that on page 1 of this thread?

You can see the whole CRL in the very first post of this thread. If you have suggestions for drafting language, feel free to post it up. We are still in the drafting process, as we only very recently got enough pictures of the toy to know what the back of the PT looked like. The movie wasn't much help there unfortunately. We have to have sources for everything in the CRL or else the Legion will give us the thumbs down.

Cool thanks! I’m glad we are getting all the references we need! I’m getting my armor and helmet soon so I’d figure I’d look for the language.

Since the Patrol helmet's ear bumps and hollowed-out tube stripes match the Rogue One/Solo TK's -

Is there any indication that the stripes on the rear traps are also recessed?

For example, the Black Series helmet:

Jimmi's Rogue One helmet:

I just found this here https://www.starwars...ld-out-blaster. Shows that the jacket arms are not ribbed the full sleeve.

Indeed, you can see 2 flat areas on few other promo pics as weel: 1 on top of the shoulder and 1 in the middle of forearm.

Also there are 3 areas with different type of stitching: 2 on biceps and 1 near the elbow on the forearm part.

Any thoughts on the length of the baton? Best I can judge is about 35 cm (14 in). I want to do some mockups, but I'm unsure of the length.

I'm basing on idea that belt is the same as for DeathTrooper - 85mm...So I did baton 34-35cm...you're damn close! :)8779bf22ec587f2dd47d69277d37bb45.jpg

Does anyone have a clear shot of backpack's left square? Looks like ShoreTrooper, but without cooler grid.

Unfortunately every pic we have is in this thread

After viewing all of the available reference pics that I could find, I can't for the life of me see any evidence of elastic strapping on either the bicep or forearm pieces.

It seems like these are most likely secured to the jacket using snaps, possibly Velcro but for the purposes of a robust connection for fimling , I'd say snaps are more likely.

Happy to make that change. When I was first putting together the CRL, I incorporated descriptions from a variety of different CRLs so we'd have a place to start from rather than from scratch. Some of the language referring to other costumes may not have been scrubbed. Good catch!

I expected it to be strapped with elastic myself given that it borrows so much from the OT Scouts and TK's

The only strapping I can make out is around the bottom of the boot as Anthony pointed out.

It does give it a nice clean look though.

Do you have any photos other than the ones found in this thread?

That wont happen until we are ready for submission. I will ping the others on the LMO team to see if we can reserve it

We're getting close. Denis is going to take pics of front, back and all the individual parts. Then we can tailor the language and get it up on the wiki
