(Solo) Patrol Trooper CRL?

Hello, Pathfinders!

 

I have made my way to this part of town because all fingers have pointed me here for discussion on the new Patrol Trooper that will be featured in Solo. The Range Trooper is currently being created by Blizzard Force, Mimban Stormtrooper by the FISD, and the Mudtrooper by the SpecOps. So, I’m wondering if there is a CRL being built over here for the Patrol Trooper as it appears to be an iteration off of the Scout.

I haven't heard anything formal yet, but it's possible that costume may find a home here.

There hasn’t been much discussion on this in the Pathfinders. The helmet is clearly a derivative of a Stormtrooper with what looks to be a variation of Shoretrooper/Tanker armor to round it out. As we approach the movie release things might change though.

Im pretty sure the Mimban Trooper will be MEPD not FISD (dirty, packs, pauldrons....). It makes sense for the PatrolTrooper to be here though.

The LMOs have stated that this time there will be no crls approved until after the movie is out though.

I've reached out to the LMO about the Patrol Trooper finding a home here, but as has been stated above, the CRLs aren't being approved until after the movie is out.

 

I think there are enough parallels with the Biker Scout that we have as good a chance as any of being the home for the PT. Helmet aside, much of the uniform is modeled after the Scout.

Wish they hadn't changed the name of the blaster. Used to be called a Sorosuub Q-2s5. Maybe the got bought out by BlasTech? haha!

Just posting to follow this thread. Already ordered my bucket from ArmoryShop and am excited to build this — especially if it lands me in the pathfinders — which makes sense to me.

 

Unless they make a new "ORPD" (outer rim police department) detachment. haha

The Legion is really not big on making new Detachments (see Shoretrooper) and I think we have the best case for the PT! Feel free to chime into the CRL thread if you have any thoughts:
