WTF helmet, how is it?

Recommended Posts

Been wanting to replace some of my armor (I have SC armor with a KS helmet) with that from WTF. Particularly, I want a new helmet. I want to see how many of you have one and tell me about what the overall quality is.

(share plenty of pictures, too)

I've had WTF armor for a few months now and still have no idea what I'm doing with it. I had read before that WTF armor is some of the most accurate, but he doesn't tell you how to put it together. The helmet is eluding me the most.

Just got to get in there mate. Post up photos ask questions. Step by step. I understand as I’m moving slow on this helmet build. Going to be my main one for awhile so want it to be super tight. Buddy send me some photos of his trim on his bucket. I’ll post more of my progress on my WTF build post so check there.

Hello, I put together one of his scout helmets for my son’s kids kit that he makes which is just like your kit only a bit smaller. I used this video and it answered most of my questions.

Be sure to use a good plastic welder to link the two halves together and sand well so the seam doesn’t show. It takes some time but will look good when it’s done!
