Lawless Scout
Hey guys Looking at the CRL it looks as if the belt should be trimmed to just ever so slightly smaller then the belt boxes giving the impression they were attached. Is that correct? This belt I have doesn’t seem to have been trimmed correctly. It would also help me fix the look of it being a 3-piece belt too by removing the main part at the top and bottom of the join. I’ve seen a few where the boxes hang over the bottom a bit giving even more of the impression that were attached rather than one piece. What say you my soon-to-be-scouts-in-arms?! Chopper
Here's a photo of one of the screen used armor sets. The belt and belt boxes are pretty much aligned with each other. There's nothing on your current belt, however, that isn't perfectly approvable.
Lawless Scout
Thanks for feedback Chopper! I’m really trying to get as close to screen as I can with the kit I have. Approvable is good but I think I can clean this up to a bit better. The boxes aren’t close at all. Who does belts like that where the boxes are that close? And I can see that the front space between the buckle and the first box is trimmed out to match the height of each while the rest of the belt matches height of the boxes. Great photo! Much appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chopper
SC has a new one piece belt that's pretty close to what's in the photo. If you need a visual, I'm wearing one in my Lancer deployment photo below.
Lawless Scout
Now I have a new reference to use! The suede on the crotch should go down to just above the knees? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Chopper
There's some room for variation, but it should be generally in that area. Here are some photos from the screen used scout, as well as Gino's replica scout from celebration (courtesy of Mickey) that should give you a better idea.
Lawless Scout
Great upclose photos! Think I’ll leave the top lip on the belt and add a strip of Velcro to help keep the bund in place. And the belt properly high so it doesn’t slip down too.
