Blackrock Jungle Boot?

Sorry, it will not pass for Lancer without cutting the sole. And the existing holes in the sole look wrong/won’t line up properly.

It should look like this after cutting.

The color seems a bit off too.

But the heel definitely needs all those cuts. Seems like a lot of work to make it look right when a pair of $20 hiking boots from Walmart would give you a better starting point.

It's really not that tough to do. I bought a hot knife at Michael's and that thing cut through the sole like warm butter ;)

Good feedback! Much appreciated.

So the imperial boots wouldn’t be Lancer them either. Good to know before spending $200.

That's correct. There's a fairly detailed review of them from a few years ago here: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=12601&hl=%20imperial%20%20boots&st=0

Look for a pair of boots made by green trail. They have the correct color sole and it's very easy to notch out. I can't find my link. A pair will run you about $25 USD on Amazon.
