BlizzardScout Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 My finished kit, looking for some help before submitting. I know my left box was tangled and makes it look shorter than the right. Let me know what else I need to work on. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BikerScout007 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Just offhand I'd say your pouches are too big and the codpiece is much too narrow. You want to go 6x5 on the pouches. The codpiece and pouch dimensions should look more like this: Your armor set up looks fine, though I'd say the KS chest piece is probably a little too big for you. Nothing that would hold up approval though. Do you have a pic of the back?
762s Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 good start... the cummerbund has to many stitched lines creating to many raised ribs as well it shouldnt be tucked into the belt, it sits just on top of the belt check the crl for basic approval .. http://databank.501s...B_Scout_trooper
BlizzardScout Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 I do. My wife helped with getting the TD on so it’s a little unleveled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
762s Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 td is backwards .. the circle greeblie should be on your right and the square on the left ... easy fix might need to adjust the cummerbund as it shifted to the left and needs to be centered .. is it to big?
BlizzardScout Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 It is a little bit but the centering isn’t something I had thought about. I actually added suspenders to help with the sag that sometimes happens. I can fix the rib with a seam ripper to remove it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Chopper Posted May 28, 2018 Posted May 28, 2018 Hey Patrick, Your boxes look good, but I recommend you adjust where they're attached to the bund and bring them up another inch and a half. The bottom of the boxes should just touch the top of your belt. There's still some crunchiness in your cod. Try bringing where it attaches in front it upwards about 1.5 to 2" and see if that flattens it out a bit. A good way to avoid the crunchiness is to make the cod lay flat in front of you when you put it on. The strap goes through your legs, but leave the cod flat, don't try and pull that part through. Here's a photo of Gino's scout (courtesy of Mickey) that shows what I'm talking about:

Chopper Posted May 28, 2018 Posted May 28, 2018 Yeah dude! Now you've got the look! Now bring those chest boxes up a teensy bit more, so that they're just above the belt, and you're good to go! 1
