Hello from orlando

I went to celebration in Orlando in 2013...started building an astromech Droid With the father-in-law. I built all the electronics/remote/dome/led panels/sound/etc while he is working the body. After celebration 2017, decided it's time to aim for 501as well and deciding to go with the shore trooper squad leader...I have the boots/armor on order and looking to close on some of the other soft parts/helmet in the next few weeks. Looking forward to working more on the painting/sanding/weathering and taking a break from soldering pcbs with r2.
