Nexous
Has anyone found a pretty accurate 3D File for the Scout Blaster? I've seen a few online, but I am fairly skeptical about trying them out without opinions. I work as a 3D Printer technician and have access to some pretty mid-range printers and would rather option to print my blaster than wait-listing and ordering one as it would be much quicker and cheaper! Chunk
A friend of mine made a scout blaster for me, but it was a lil undersized. He has since corrected the size. I belive he has made a few for himself. Wanna say he found the files online. His printer is at his house & about a 2' cube. He said it was a fairly decent model for him & what he does with it. I'll see if I can find one that has a lot of good feedback because if this works out I'd have no qualms with trying to help out others that want their blasters

Dart
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:40356 This one looks like it's based off the Kenner blaster, making it a bit on the large side. It's not the best looking version out there.
Nexous
It seems like most models are on thingiverse are larger than they should be (probably based off the Kenner blaster as mentioned). http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:42811 ;based off the schematics it looks solid, but based off a customer print it might be too large? I don't know, don't really know off the top of my head a good frame of reference is other than the screen cap below.
jcarlson101
I just held my DVH blaster in my hand just like the pic. Looks about right. What might be throwing off your eye between the two pics is that you can fit more fingers in the hand guard without the gloves. I can fit 4 of my fingers in the handguard, but 3 at the most with the gloves on. I really want a 3D printer now...

I'll try and print one over the next month when our printing services slow down and see if I can get some good results.
jcarlson101
Found this 3D printed blaster topic below. http://forum.bikersc...showtopic=12130 It's a link to 3D printed blaster from last year with a link to another topic with measurements with a link to to another topic with a link to a PDF blue print of the blaster with measurements. Possibly the same one used to make the 3D file. A bit roundabout but you'll get some extra reading material in about other attempts. I honestly think either this post or the post from link above should be pinned. There is a good amount of helpful resources to those attempting a 3D printed blaster or need a blue print to work a sculpt of their own packed into them.
