Arakus
The picture of the KS helmet in the CRL doesn't have visor bolts. I noticed some of the other helmets that were posted were of mix of having black visor bolts and not having any. I have a fiberglass MB helmet that doesn't have a flip up visor. Do I even need to worry about tracking down some 3m Speed Glas bolts since the CRL doesn't specify?
Death Recon
ughh I think your talking about the Scout Trooper helmet (This is the Kashyyyk Trooper area) But yes for both, Scout and Kashyyyk both require the specific bolt greeb on the sides as far as I know
bselphfsu282
No, I know what you are talking about. The helmet on the photos do not show a visor bolt and cover, but yes it is required. You do not need a specific bolt, other than having the rough black cover. I used a screw to hold the visor, and then a foot cover for a barstool to cover it. Worked pretty well. Death Recon
your bucket from BC didnt include the "bolt"?
Arakus
your bucket from BC didnt include the "bolt"? BC? I'll double check, but I'm pretty sure it is one of Mr. Bungles (i.e. "MB"). It is a one piece bucket made of fiber glass and doesn't have the flip up visor.
bselphfsu282
None have a flip up visor. The BC bucket comes with the visor as a separate piece which has to be screwed on. I'm not sure how MB comes, but you would need the black disc on the sides regardless.
Death Recon
You screwed yours on? I glued mine then just put the black bolts (round covers) where I thought they looked best
bselphfsu282
Yeah I actually screwed in and bolted from the inside. This way, I can take it off if really needed. My gluing ends up running down the mask as well, so I felt better about just screwing it on, an the using the disc to cover the screw. Good idea just gluing though. Would have saved me a minor heart attack I had preparing to drill into what I spent so much time sanding!
comm tech
My visor is E6000 on and will be there for life. LOL
Drewid
None have a flip up visor. The BC bucket comes with the visor as a separate piece which has to be screwed on. I'm not sure how MB comes, but you would need the black disc on the sides regardless. The MB helmet is a single piece of resin. I just drilled holes in the sides to affix the covers. Admiral Targeta
So Having a flip visor is not required?
Death Recon
Nope, you can do whatever type of helmet you like with the Kashyyyk and it will not matter for your application. It does not specify in the CRL what it has to be so you can do a drop down, flip up, or a removable face. (or any other variation you can think of) You never see in the movie what style of bucket they have.
