  1. We went to an armor party yesterday and worked on our back armor tanks and getting them to align/fit properly. It took us alot of trial and error but I think we are mostly there. I think there will only need to be some minor tweaking once we go to put it all together. Big thanks to @Stryker_412 and Delta for making sure we were doing it right. I dont know if we could have done it without you two.
  2. Looks like they also offer neck seals as an add on accessory, so I am getting those with my cummerbund order.
  3. I just ordered 2 cummerbunds from KriptonTop on ETSY. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1265184806/scout-trooper-the-mandalorian-cummerbund
  4. Thank you! I just ordered 2 from KriptonTop.
  5. I am looking to purchase cummerbunds and just want to make sure they are approvable. These were the 2 options I found on etsy: KriptonTop - https://www.etsy.com/listing/1265184806/scout-trooper-the-mandalorian-cummerbund AmionCostumes - https://www.etsy.com/listing/989434544/custom-made-remnant-scout-trooper?variation1=2042595246&variation0=1966261069 If there are other options I would love to see them. For price reasons I am leaning towards KriptonTop because I need to buy 2.
  6. Finished my bag this afternoon.
  7. Sorry about that. I have and old imgur so I will try and use that from now on.
  8. The size they allow for these pictures is really small so here is another picture but a close up on the D rings and chicago screw attachments.
  9. I cut off the buckle but used that opening for one of my one set of my D rings.
  10. Can I just use a dremel and cut off the double prongs, the loop keeper, and the spiner on the buckle, and just use the buckle as one of the D rings for attaching to the bag?
  11. I bought the p37 bag from amazon and the badge from etsy. I just ordered the replacement strap belt from amazon and a set of d rings. I should be able to get the chicago screws at my local hardware store.
  12. I already bought the p37 bag on amazon and the badge from etsy. I plan to get these d rings: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08WPXCS5G/ I will get the chicago screws at a local hardware store. I was looking at this belt: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F1915MX/ What size should I get for the belt?
  13. I just purchased black flight suits and biker scout gloves from Wampa Wear this morning for my wife and I. There is another armor party later this month. We are making slow but steady progress with our goal of being approved by the end of the year.
  14. Thank you, I will be ordering the wampa wear black flight suit you linked to.
  15. I just wanted to double check before I make a purchase if any of these options will work for my mando scout trooper. Especially since the costume is for me and my wife the price is double. 16. Yes, I was made aware of the upcoming ban on the Walt's helmet. That is why I initially started working on our scout armor hoping I could beat the deadline. Unfortunately we ran into a problem getting my wife's Mandalorian Mercs costume approved so I had to switch gears and work on that alot more than I had expected and I didnt get to work on the scout troopers like I had wanted. I know that I wont be able to make that August 10th deadline. So now I will be looking at other helmets to buy/build instead. Is there a list of helmets that work for the mandalorian version or are the helmets the pretty much the same?
  17. My wife and I bought the Walts scout trooper a couple years ago, but never got around to building it. A couple weeks ago I pulled the box out of the garage and took it to a build party in Lake Worth FL. With help from a biker scout from Miami, I was able to get the majority of the armor pieces roughly trimmed out. Thank you Nico! This past weekend I meet up with at a local build party in Winter Park FL and met up with another biker scout. After alot of talk discussing the CRLs of each of the different types, we decided we are going to go with the Mandalorian version. We also got to work on taking the rough trimmed armor and really getting it smoothed out. Thank you to Stryker and Delta for all the help! You guys went above and beyond helping us, we cant thank you enough.
  18. While I am just now starting to work on a scout trooper I am part of the mando mercs. I have similar pouches on my mando kit. I use nesquik containers to keep the form. i painted them so the yellow doesnt show through.
