Finally after a long bout of procrastination. I finally finished my scout. Few tweaks too be made with suiting up. But over all I’m happy with the turn out. https://imgur.com/a/ysEiD4I

Looking for a place to get my flight suit
Htofstead replied to Bhane's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Soft Parts
Fits perfect. The only issue was the cummerbund, that was to big. But I got that professionally fitted by a seamstress. So all if perfect now -
Thanks this helped a lot
-
Which Velcro, the one on the cummerbund or the cod piece? Cause what I have seen is the cod is Velcro onto the flight suit and not the Bund Or vest
-
Ya that’s why I thought too. I am thinking the Velcro on the cummerbund is for better placement and might be sewn onto the flight suit to keep it from slipping.
-
I ordered and just received. Took a few months to get and the cummerbund was the only part that was to big. Other than that, everything looked great and fit perfectly. I would highly recommend them since they build with 501st specs in mind

I received my super awesome soft goods from kriptontop the other day but not sure the proper placement for the cummerbund and cod piece. I have looked at videos and images but not sure the proper placement. Are there better videos I am missing from the 501st or anything on line? I know this might be a stupid noob question but I figure I ask any way. The cummerbund has sewn black Velcro on the back that needs to be sewn somewhere and the cummerbund has black sewn Velcro on the far back side along the ribs. Not sure where those are suppose to be sewn to

I got mine off Etsy from kriptontop. Just received yesterday it’s it’s top quality and made for 501st specifications -
I have the same kit. Struggling with helmet alignment. Any hints of tips and tricks with sun visor and face shield would be great. Did you have any issues with yours? heath

Studio creations helmet visor
Htofstead replied to Htofstead's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Ya I was able to cut it out. I just cut a small section away and then used a Dremel for the remainder. As I got closer to the edges, I used sandpaper to smooth it out. -
What the most easiest way to cut out the visor and ear holes on a studio creations helmet? I might take a Dremel wheel to both, get it started and then a small sanding wheel to round out the rest, then hand sand. But not sure if there is an easier way
-
Well there is a butt flap in the suit. Cut the back seam, add a hidden zipper under the flap. Make it long enough to spread the fabric so you can do number 2. Clean yourself off, zip back up and cover with the flap.

Starting build soon once my armor from studio creations arrives and looking for a rivet gun to get the job done. Most of what I am finding on Amazon sucks. Don’t want to spend a fortune, because as we all know, I spent that already hahahahha. Advice and links would be great. Bonus point if the set comes with aluminum rivets and it steel. Thanks

I’m confused on this because I have seen that decal on every helmet in production and even used on the troopers in ROTJ.
