  1. Congratulations! Well deserved! Welcome to the best detachment! Tip of the spear!
  2. As you already know @BikerScout98 I have a regular TK and TX Shadow trooper. The neck seal that is required to wear while in those those kits can be quite uncomfortable at times and mine, at least, holds in a lot of heat. I don't recommend adding an extra layer that isn't required. Plus no one is really going to see it. As far as your pouch boxes, I know some people use left over abs plastic to form a nice hollow box insert. I've done it before but found that it caused unnecessary weight to my pouches and ditched the idea and just used foam. Plus, like @BikerScout007, I didn't like the perfectly symmetrical box look. With that being said, I just inherited a boat load of 3mm sintra for our Mando Merc Clan and we have plenty to go around. It's perfect for making custom hollowed boxes, like you are looking for. I will facetime with you later this week to show you how to build them and send you some of the sintra.
  3. @BikerScout98If you need scrap white abs to make abs paste to fill in that hole, I have a 5 gallon bucket full of it. Let me know if you need me to send you some. I can Facetime with you to show you how to make it once you receive it. It's a simple process but does take some practice to get it right. The pics and upgrades are looking good!
  4. @BikerScout98 Your personal experiences has proven why being involved with the detachment is so important when creating your build. You have done exactly that. It's unfortunate that you have received so many poor quality items, especially ones that guarantee a certain level of attainment. We've all been there and wasted money on pure junk before, when we thought we were getting something approvable. Having to start over can be very disheartening and make you want to rage quit. Trust me, I've been in that place before. But, you have proven to yourself and your peers that you do have perseverance and quitting isn't an option. All you can do now is just keep moving forward and share your knowledge and personal experiences with the newbies.
  5. Like Chopper said, there aren't many WTF bucket builds. One of our scouts in our garrison was having quite the difficulty getting it built. He eventually gave up on it and went with an RS bucket. I'm not saying they can't be done, they are just a lot of work to make it look even half decent. As far as the black paint, most of the shadow scouts use the Rustoleum satin, canyon black.
  6. Congratulations on your Vanguard status! Looking great trooper!
  7. Jenny, Your softs parts are looking great! Keep up the awesome work.
  8. I agree with Chopper. You did a nice job trimming.
  9. Greetings fellow Pathfinders, Our Wasteland patches finally came in. I’m looking for other ART patches to trade for. Cheers!
  10. Exactly what Chopper said. I've used plasti dip on several helmets and in my opinion, it's best to do it as a last step.
  11. Did you find/order any? @CrookKnight I have a ton of extra I haven’t touched in years. Willing to send you what you need.
  12. Yes, I always wear my flak vest for the reason 007 has stated. My cod is attached to the bottom of the vest.
  13. Pledford, Looking pretty good. I believe most of the issues you have are a kitting up issue. Looks like your cod piece got twisted and isn’t sitting right. Forearm armor should sit on top of your gloves. Drop boxes could be a little evened out. Your soft parts look pretty could and tight. Not sure if it’s gonna hold you back from basic but your flak vest looks a little too long on the sleeves. You only want about an inch to come out from under the shoulder bells. You’re pretty darn close. Good job
  14. It’s my pleasure. Now we are waiting on the patch business to re open to submit an order.

  18. is white thread still correct for Lancer?
  19. Thanks bro!
  20. So that wasn't very difficult.😂 I talked some members into it. I'm happy to say Neon City Garrison is now registered and ready to take home the title.
  21. @Chopper What do you think about my cuts on the first attempt? Do I need to cut out for on the front side?
  22. This sounds awesome! The Vegas crew had planned on driving in that evening. I will see if we can switch our departure time around to take part in this.
  23. Hello and welcome. I use military pads in mine. Cheap and easy. They can be removed for cleaning.
  24. Alright Lancers. I cut out my first boot. Looking for feedback on my first attempt. https://www.flickr.com/photos/185188559@N06/
