I found some boots that look almost exactly like the Kingshow boots but the have a thin, lighter color strip over the tan, gummy sole. The CRL says tan soles, but the level two says all one color. I am waiting on my kit, and this is my second armor (ANH Hero for several years now). I want to have my soft parts done before the kit arrives, and I am hoping that the boots I found will pass for entry level certification.

SURPRISE!!! My awesome family ordered me a Walt's kit for my bday!! Should be here in about 6 -8 weeks!! TB here I come!!!!! They got me the full kit with helmet, so I'll have a display and one for trooping. Looking at soft parts now so when the kit comes all I'll need to do is the plastic.

wondering if this is enough ear trim?

trying to post pics. They are suddenly too large even though they are the same ones taken from my phone, sent to email, downloaded to laptop, then dragged to post. Gotta figure this out. It worked just fine on the ones above.

ok. progress! I got everything trimmed better. Instead of using stickers, I decided to pop out the sticker part and use the template as a stencil. I trimmed it wide, put on painter's tape, wrapped it in a plastic bag, and sprayed it. PERFECT, sharp lines. I'm super happy with it!!!!

So I trimmed it according to the video. The production helmet had the snout cut out. Most pics I see have it cut out. What is approvable?

Thanks all. I did see the video on the ear trimming and the construction of the trimmed pieces, but those are all I’ve found. Are there other KS specific ones?

Got the first piece of the Kropserkel helmet trimmed. Anyone want to chime in? I have ordered the accurate 3M bolts from Imperial Surplus and the snout greeblie from Studio Creations. I'll start on the visor next. Thanks in advance for any hints and tips.

Ordered the KS helmet kit. Does the accurate snout greeblie from studio creations fit this helmet? Already looking at the accurate bolt kit.

New to this forum but a veteran at 501st build. My TK armor is ATA and my TK helmet is TM. My question is who makes the most screen accurate biker scout helmet and armor for the best price? I’m going to start another build in a year or so, and l I’ve seen a couple comparison pics. Some seem small and some seem larger but I haven’t seen anything that compares them to screen-used helmets.
