I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I came on the forum to post a question regarding the jumpsuit collar and this seemed like an appropriate place to ask. Am I right, based on the CRL, that a mandarin collar is the only approvable collar? That's the way I understand it. The reason I ask is because I have been looking at a vendor who makes jumpsuits. He offers 2 versions: #1 with a mandarin collar and faux suede riding patches; and #2 with a v-neck collar (that appears to zip up high) and real suede riding patches. The vendor says the v-neck is screen accurate and "approvable". Does anyone have any thoughts on this? My issue is that, like I mentioned above, it seems the mandarin style collar is what is required. However, I would like the real suede riding patches offered on the v-neck suit since real suede is required for Lancer status. I've included photos of the two collar styles offered...

Nice! I quite like the Patrol Trooper design.

So the obvious choice for gloves seems to be Wampa Wear. But I noticed on their website that they also make flight suits (they have one listed as "Biker Scout Racing Suit"). How good/accurate are these? From the photos it doesn't look like it has the suede patches or thigh straps, so I guess these suits are starting points that I would need to add the additional details to...?

Further to the original post... I have MC armour, how concerned should I be with matching up my helmet to my armour? Should I stick with an MC helmet, would that be preferred?, or am I safe to consider other options? Do people ever run into issues where the colour doesn't quite match from one vendor to another?
