  1. I know cargo pockets/butt pockets and the like have to be removed off of the red cap coveralls, but do regular waist pockets have to be sewn shut/hidden?

  7. So I am at the final phases of my helmet, it’s all sand it down and ready to have bondo applied and painted. What type of filler spray is good to use to fill in small scratches So I do not have to use massive amounts of bondo on my bucket? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Plastic weld works very well. I have the same helmet and I used that in conjunction with strips of plastic (for sale sign) and then I ran a bead of the plastic bond on the top and in the middle of the strips on the inside. Then I sanded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Alright Pathfinder Family, I'm going to be making my cummerbund this coming week and I need pics and advice!! I've seen the crl but I'm still hung up on details because I don't want to screw this up! I wanted to pick one up from ole CheeseWhoopy but due to time constraints for an event I'm doing as soon as my suit is up and running, I couldn't. =( Any pics and advice as far as how I should measure, batting, fabric, Velcro closures, suspenders as an option and how to attach the darn pouches is, as always, GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
  11. WIP on a TB kit and I am trimming the belt and I am noticing that it seems a bit on the long side and when I compare pics to my belt I am noticing that the boxes are a bit spaced apart. Am I supposed to cut and move them closer by riveting and/or gluing them closer? Suggestions and picks always appreciated
  12. AAAAAAAH!!!!! Those are the strips I'm looking for! And you just glued it to the seam using more devcon?
  13. I'm in the process of putting together my WTF bucket. I very generously applied the DEVCON plastic weld (definitely have some sanding to do)Would strips of "FOR SALE" plastic signs be an acceptable material to use as a reinforcement strip?
  14. Can anyone possibly direct me to a tutorial or a picture of how they installed their 3m speedglas bolts onto the visor of their bucket?
  15. It is a kriptontop kit from Etsy. Pretty thick and sturdy from what I gather. So sign material? That’s pretty easy. As far as glue should I use loctite, superglue, plastic bonder?
  16. I bought an ABS helmet kit that Was made very well but it did not come with any of the pieces to assemble the split visor and split bucket. What kind of plastic/abs strips or materiel should I use to hold the parts together and where can I find them?
  17. Does anybody out there know of a way to strengthen or reinforce ABS plastic armor and helmets by either using some sort of hard epoxy, resin or fiberglass?
