I believe the soles need to be cut out just to achieve Lancer status

I'm planning on doing boots myself and had the same issue finding the right boots in my size. You can always get tan acrylic paint to use on the soles. That what I did.

Are you looking to have someone make your boots or do them yourself?

Not sure if everyone saw the announcement DSP made today so I figured I'd share. The Force Forum will now be making the DSP blasters starting with the DLT-19/19x.

By covered, I meant with leather or vinyl like the Biker Scout boot.

There is a good shot of the toe on the boot where it is in frame for about 1/2 sec (not entirely sure how long but it was clear). It does appear to be painted or covered by something.

There's a thread over on the vendor forum he made about armor. He got with Mark Edwards with CFO who will now be making strider's armor.

I think it's more of a dull bronze. Wheat is more of a light yellowish brown.

Agreed, the color looks like a mix of brown and orange.

I know, unfortunately those specific boots are no longer available. The CRL does say boot sole is tan

Because the boots I had gotten had a two toned color sole, I got some tan acrylic paint. I currently have 3 coats on. Is this the right color?

Are you measuring to the top of the bend at the knee?

The pictures Mickey provided show the patches stopped above the knee guards.

The toe of the boot looks like it might be covered like Biker scouts are, with vinyl or something similar. The heel and dog bone look like armor though.
