I did manage to get one. They did a special run of 4 a few months after the last run.

Congratulations Mickey another year as DL

Congrats Mickey -
You can do it man. I can down to my goal. Now I just need to keep it off. Unfortunately, I need to wait to get my soft parts materials because money is tight.

Based on all the ball caps I've worn, I'd say I have an average sized head. I'm looking at the CFO/Lonewolf

What's the best way to measure my head to know what size bucket to get? I've never been sized for a hat. Do I just need to measure the circumference around the widest part of my head?

Awesome job

Can you chose your numbers for your "TK" "ST" ect?
Tjeccles replied to Shenanigen5280's topic in Getting Started
You choose your number. It has to be five digits long and yes it's the same for each costume. The only thing that changes is the costume designation: TK, TB, DZ, etc. -

That's a good question that I don't have an answer to. -

You might consider using leather instead of vinyl. You have a pair of the original boots, why not use the best method to cover them? -
sibbel29’s Strider/CFO armor built topic

I will be following this since I have several questions and this is the armor I have. Thank you -
Mickey posted a thread called undersuit mods on the biker scout soft parts section. It's stickied to the top.

Thanks Chopper.

So I'm finally getting the armor out of the box and working with it. The armor I have is CFO/Strider's armor. The TD was on top so I figured I'd start with that. The caps need to be cut. What size are the caps supposed to be? Are they 1/2 inch?

I decided to start learning how to sew on monk cloth for a Jawa. Not my smartest move.
-
I have a brother sewing machine that I'm learning how to use. I'm great with straight lines, but not with much else.

A few of the TKs I handle for have a speaker in their chest plate and it works really well. Granted it is a different costume.

Thanks Chopper.

I'm currently working on losing weight and am hesitant to start getting everything done on my scout for that reason. I'm currently 220 and looking to get around 180-190. I know I'll probably need to get new soft parts or at least have them taken in if I get them now. I have Strider's armor from Mark at CFO still sitting in the box. I'd prefer not having to readjust the armor if at all possible but I feel bad having it just sit there. Anyone have any suggestions?.

Good job everyone. Looking forward seeing it finished.

Same here, I volunteer as tribute.

That's okay with me, I wanted to make my own boots anyways. Would you be buying boots to re-sole or just sending these soles to people?
-
Do you know how much these would run?
