  1. You've mention the static burst before, Mickey. Do you know for a fact that all his systems have that static burst in it? He advertises it for TB helmets, so I assumed it wouldn't be inaccurate. I watched one of the videos on YouTube and it didn't seem incorrect. This is kinda important. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  2. Is anyone running UKswrath's audio and cooling system simultaneously in their lid, specifically an RS version? I'd like to run both but even with my lil bullethead, I'm concerned about interior space. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  3. One RS Prop Masters skid lid kit ordered. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  4. In my personal opinion, semi-gloss looks the best. It appears to be closest to canon and looks like a realisitc weapon. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  5. Forgot to add this last pic. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  6. As promised, Chopper. Here is one of Negative 11's blasters. I bought it used from Neg11, so it has some attractive weathering already. DISCLAIMER: I have never held or trooped with any other Scout blaster, so my opinions are purely based off supposition and a vivid imagination, lol. The first three pics are an attempt to mimic Chopper's original comparison pics and the last pic is an attempt to show detail in comparison to the pair of reference pics in his post. The underside pics are for comparison to Griffin-X's (hard to read his stuff now) pics involving the Duff, HS, SF, and UGP models. (Please forgive the poor quality, cameras on $150 tablets apparantly have an IQ of 4) WOLF'S OPINION: Length - At 9 inches (camera perspective is odd), the Neg11 seems to be an inch longer than the HF, DVH, and PA versions. Weight - seems to be very reasonable, but I have no baseline for comparison. Durability - feels like poured resin and fairly indestructible. Color - I personally love the semi-gloss. Looks like the bluing on a real weapon. Security - the magnet is a beast. I dont see this going anywhere while I stomp around. Detail Accuracy - much more detailed than the reference versions but unfortunately, we all know less is more when it comes to canon. That being said, this is a damn good-lookin blaster. The lack of seams down the length of the body is impressive and the surface is smooth and without a lot of (if any) bubbles. The real screws holding the trigger guard and scope to the receiver add realism. Fit - Neg11 informed me that it fits the SC and KS holsters, and he has a thread on here somewhere showing how he mods the holster for other armors. I hope this helps, Chopper. It was fun comparing the different reviews and pictures. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  7. Boom. Got some awesomeness in the mail today, thanks to Neg-11. Chopper, I'll get some detailed pics and measurements over to your comparison thread soon. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  8. -growl- Post deleted. Tapatalk is bad about double-posting.
  9. Consider this the formal notice of my intention to file a formal notice. Lol As soon as I get all my other approvals out of the way, I'm founding an ART in the Carolinas. You have been notified. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  10. Ordered one of Chris Gould's (Negative-Eleven) holdout blasters. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  11. Woot! Shizzle's gittin rizzle, nizzles!! First orders came in today. Buncha straps and whatnot and my WW gloves. Based off of thread research on here and the general consensus, I ordered them one size up from my usual, and I'm glad I did. They are indeed snug, but not uncomfortably so. These things are nice quality too. I may hafta take 'em out for a ride, lol. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  12. Ok thanks. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk

  14. Where do you get your lens. Lenses. Lensi? Lenseseses. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  15. What exactly is meant by the term 'visor' and how is it black? I thought the visor was the piece that over-shadows the eyes and that it was white. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  16. What's the background on this saga? What do these legendary leather personnel carriers look like? What made them so popular? Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  17. I was shopping for suede and sewing supplies today and realized that I am way out of my league. Neither my wife and I know how to sew and we'll be hard pressed just to handle all the straps and velcro, so once again BikerScout007 comes through with those famous words... "Chris makes those." Lol. So I ordered a flight suit from Chrisx909x today as well. I know, I know. I'm pitiful. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk

  21. Thanks, 762. Of all the things I hafta get my hands on, patience is tough one. Ordered the "Red Kap Twill Action Back Flight Suit" from Amazon today. Size 46-Long. Also got a TEKTON 6555 rivet gun Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
  22. Dear Diary... ....kidding. But not really. This is gonna be my very first WIP thread and I'm starting off where all great adventures start. At the beginning. I'm going to be as detailed as possible, not only for you lurkers, but to kind of give myself lead time trends and to record the order of how I put this bad boy together. Bear with me and feel free to comment, question, examine, joke, etc. The Army never issued me any feelings, so we're good to go. I hate reinventing the wheel and/or wasting time so I encourage participation, even if it's a smack in the back of the head. As of today, I have the following orders placed to kick this thing off: On 09 January, I ordered boots and the cummerbund / pouch combo from Cheesewhoopy up there in Rhode Island. Very customer service, much communicate, excite. 13 January, I ordered the vest from Chrisx909x out in Cali after reading good things about him and getting a recommendation from BikerScout007, whom I am rapidly learning is The Man (capital letters). About the same time, I put myself on the waiting list for Strider's armor. I'm 27th on the list. Thusly, I begin my journey to become a "speeder biker" as we called them in the '80s. lol This has been a long time coming and I think I may actually be vibrating with excitement.
  23. lmao. "Round-ness". Nice.
  24. Perfect. Thanks, fellers.
