where can one obtain an Altmann or Kropserkel? They still making them or do I need to find one from someone?

Goodmorning all, I am planning on going with SC Hard Parts, need slight guidance with soft parts, but the biggest thing is my helmet. I previously had an Altmann which was such a beautiful helmet however I will need a helmet that will fit my giant head with padding inside, a size 8 fitted hat is comfortable to me so not sure if anyone else has a large head that can point me in the right direction for a helmet! Any help is very much appreciated and i'm going to attempt the entire build myself (armor trimming and assembly) and possibly my boots? Ill be doing a build thread in the appropriate category on the forum. Thank you in advance!

For anyone that wants some good news on this sunday morning, I FINALLY ordered my flight suit Kolossus Deluxe Long Sleeve Cotton Blend Coverall with Multi Pockets and Antistatic Zipper AND kingshow Men's 1801 Work Boots Ive put everything off for so long and now im starting slowly to gather everything needed including some white marine vinyl and e6000 glue (yes im going to attempt to do the boots myself, wish me luck) but I have lots of tutorials and support to help me thru all of this! havent posted on the forums in a while! few months back acquired an Altmanns helmet, bought a chin cup, just tonight ive trimmed it and am looking for elastic webbing sizes to attach it to the helmet. Also is it normal to feel "flustered" when looking where to start to build a scout....I feel like im taking forever for something I could have had done by now. I just dont know where to start and there is so much to do! Also dont know how to sew so unfortunately I myself cannot stitch or sew anything myself....help me push thru this haha! Id just like to be trooping by now!

Trying to make my own guts, odd question but has anyone used the guts out of a fire department helmet? Have my old helmet and pulled out the guts and am gonna try with some heavy duty Velcro. I’ll post pics when I figure out how to..

Just wondering if anyone out there has put out a google spreadsheet or document that is sort of like a checklist for a complete set of armor? If not I was going to look into making one using the requirements off of the CRL. Just to kind of streamline the process of gathering everything required.
