Thank you guys this is all really helpful information! The belt is dropping because I need to adjust the Velcro - I’ve lost 2.5kg since I first started the project so will add Velcro and adjust the belt fitting - I will also change the length of the cod piece elastic as I think that’s what’s causing the wrinkles and ‘pull’. And it probably could do with coming up a little too. how are my chest pouches looking - I’m slightly barrel cheated so even with an X-ray bit of length I feel they are still protruding our a little.
-
Thanks for the tips - will look into that, right now I’m shedding a lot of weight what with works gym now being open again to employees so the belt is definitely going to need adjusting so do you think I’m at the point where I can start the Lance application?
-
So more trimming on the chest and back plate along with the straps, and some other small adjustments
-
So did some more work on the cumber band and cod piece to meet Lancer spec - @Retrofire and @Chopperwhat do you all think?

Ahh yes, the boots are already on my ‘to do’ list - I need to post more measurement photos too. also my GML’s approved the costume this morning (JST) so now it’s full steam ahead for Lancer Approval!!
-
Is there anything else you can see that might hinder my application for lancer?

Awesome information!! Many thanks for that! the stitch line has completely gone now as I removed the thread completely and then washed it - I’ve used a different method to attach the cod price to the cumber band that I think is much neater. I also repacked the pouches as they looked off in the photos and aligned the flaps properly.

No time like the present!! chop chop!!

Many thanks for the insight and information - I will address those issues I immediately.

Many people don't know this but my original costume was intended to be a biker Scout from return of the Jedi however after the company I decided to buy my arm and soft parts from run away with everybody's money without providing the promised goods I ended up Armor: WTF Helmet: EFX (Modified) Soft parts: Imperial Boots (Modified) First the belt and thermal detonator
-
It' the V2 also I used automotive filler to do some work to look more accurate - if you have Joel's modified parts I think the corrections are in his files - be careful those collar parts are easy to break and I ended up using steel rods in my collar and carbon resin to reinforce and strengthen it.

That's a good question - however see if you can find FLAME Orange or FLAME Blue paints - its the sister company of Montana paints and they have that paint colour range available As for the actual pigment codes I don't actually have them as they are stored on the computer at the company who mixed my paints. The actual pigment codes are available online. Sadly I don't I messed up a lot and had to reprint many things like the abdominal armour, pringle cans and other stuff - Also if I was to do this again I would probably increase the wall thickness on many of the parts - especailly the helmet.

Shoretrooper Fam on Facebook is the place to be for everything relating to Shoretrooper builds. They were an enormous help in getting mine up to spec. They also have a vendor list that has been used by members whom have been approved by the 501st and also to get Vanguard status. Although remember although parts or vendors are approved armour needs to fit the specific individual and may require modifications to do so.

First off what armour are you building? Scout or Shore Trooper?
