Ok so, I know I am a overweight for my height and age. 189lbs I'm 5' 10.5 However, after my test fit of my TB ...geez I look like I have been eating too many ewoks! Does anyone else have this issue of the costume "adding weight"? Yes I need to lay off the crap I eat and drink, and need to get out and start running again....but still. Any tips on wearing the costume to look more slimming? These are from my test fit this evening. Still have lots of adjustments and fixes to do. (Like the belt boxes) Anyway any thoughts or tips is greatly appreciated. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

And...... Is it safe to assume that these bumps marked to drill the holes correct? In other words could I drill them and connect them and everything raise and lower properly? Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

So another question. What about this? Should the bottom hang off when it's all together? If I raise it up then the top is not flush and could cause problems when raising the face mask. Thoughts? Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Making progress. I know there are a lot of issues with this so far, and I will fix them. Today was really just a test fit in some parts to see how it feels. Legs in the 3rd photo were way too baggy. I turned them inside out and took them up. This pic is for the boots. Thoughts???? Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Hey folks. So I have an idea. Since I'm shut in , I am spending lots of time in my garage working on my SC kit. I plan to work this evening and thought I would do a zoom meeting while I work, that way I could have real time feedback, and collaboration. I would love to say hey to everyone and get input. Let me know if you would be available and I will add a link for zoom. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Yep. E6000 is very messy!!! But the good thing is that even after it dries, you can peel off any spillage. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Well, I have spent some time letting everything sinkn in, looking over parts. I am doing my helmet last. Thinking back on.mt TK build I decided to start small, and build confidence first. So I though I would find one easy task and start with it. So, I set brushed the greeblies for the biceps and tank topper, then glued them in with e6000. I'm choosing to do pretty much everything and e6000 just due to the fact that I have learned from my TK that any mistake can be fixed when it is glued with that stuff. I do! However I'm having trouble finding a good build thread for the helmet. It's a SC and all I see is pandas which doesn't have a helmet build Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Hey guys! So my studio creations armor arrives tomorrow! I am pretty pumped. I have my soft parts but I am looking for a great SC build thread to follow when starting my build. I have looked through Panda's SC build but understand that was several years ago and was looking for more recent thread that was up to date. Anyone have a suggestion?

I actually bought them from a fellow Garrison member who bought new gloves and wanted to get rid of these. They have a little wear to them but that's totally fine with me since I plan to weather my TB anyway. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Hello folks! I have been am approved TK since 2016 and now I am ready to start a new build. Looking forward to being able to sit, have some mobility, take a knee when taking photos with kids. I have been working on soft parts and a 3D printed blaster. Went with the white canvas bun and pouches since I already had some material on hand. May make new bun and cod later if going for Lancer later. My SC armor should arrive in the next few days. More to come later!!! Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Same here! I am currently a TK and 501st member. I have been trying to decide what my next build will be and I have decided on a shoretrooper. When researching my TK there were a few threads about different vetted armor makers, pros and cons of each, even an idea on price of kits. Also there were build threads for specific armor makers and type. Are there similar things like that for shoretroopers?
