So, I have someone who has asked me to build their TB for them complete with soft goods. They of course will provide all of the armor, and materials to do so. My question is what is a fair price for labor and time? Thoughts?

So has there been any talk of anyone building a battlefront TB. They look pretty cool, and looks like it could be way more comfortable. Thoughts??? Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Thigh patches material question.

Also after you wear it for a while, wash it etc, it fades a little. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk -
Does anyone have a pattern for the inner thigh patches? I need to redo mine and looking for a decent pattern. Like maybe a PDF file? Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Thank you so much!! This is great and has inspired me to get one. Thank you!! Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

I'm seriously thinking about getting one for my scalp but what I would love to see is a YouTube tutorial on exactly how to pack it where everything fits. It would be awesome if you would do that! Hint Hint Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Yes for sure suiting up by myself was sort of a challenge. I have a different Bond and codpiece that's made out of white canvas that actually fits better it's just a little heavier and not as comfortable as the one in the picture. I will work on shortening the sleeves of the flak vest. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Yeah I feel like I need to take them up. But may I ask everyone an honest question? When trooping, how many scouts really wear the flak vest? From my experience it seems like many scouts where the flak vest for approval pictures then never really wear them again in a regular Troop. Am I right or am I wrong? Ok guys, I think I might be ready to submit for approval. I am already a legion member as TK but this I am more worried about. Anyway, my 10 yr old daughter took these pics so not the best quality. Any I welcome thoughts and suggestions. I know it's not perfect and FAR from Lancer but would like basic approval.....be gentle lol Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

is this the 35 inch smaller size tote? I have a big 50 gal Husky tote for my TK but would like to go smaller for my TB

Really? wow ok For some reason I thought they had hints of grass stain or bush whack here and there. I sooooo want to weather it up, but have seen how some people over do it on sandtroopers and am afraid of making a mistake that cant be undone. If I DO screw up and do a little too much, is there a way I can get the paint off?

man it hurts my heart just a little bit when I see those BIG spray marks hit that white armor!!!! That being said, this is probably the direction I will go. (only much lighter) I was thinking about something that had a little more green and browns in it too. Sort like it has brushed up against lots of trees, and foliage. Thoughts?

Ok guys and gals, My scout is pretty much done. just fine tuning some things before approval pics. My question is about weathering. I would like to weather my scout, however I do not want to over weather. I have a very clean TK so I do not feel I need a clean TB. Is there a link, thread, or just general tips on weathering? Materials used, tips on how to apply, where on the armor to apply? Also I know some who have air brushed, but after cannot get the armor wet due to it washing off. Im not sure I want to do this especially since I do not own airbrush eq. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Any tips on dying the existing straps off white or where one can find new off white straps? Or should I just stick with white pouches and weather? Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Update: I started over and made new "off white" pouches with the dimensions of 5x6x2 Then I made new new bun and cod from a very fancy table cloth that I aquired recently which is made from a high end polished cotton!! It's very soft and light. Way more comfortable than duck canvas. Plus helps keep things looking slim and not like a marshmallow. Thoughts??? Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Did another test fit tonight. Of course I only had the assistance of my 10 yr old daughter to help with suiting up and photos, hence why my bun is all jacked up under my tank...ugh Anyway, still need to add my holster and butt flap, make some adjustments, make new pouches. But... getting closer Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Oh ok.... I see. Well, once all this covid crap is over I will get new material and make new pouches. For now it will have to do. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

It's a work in progress Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Removed the seam so now it's one piece. Question: The tabs on the back. Can I just attach them to the back? I'm actually going to try and Velcro the pouch to the bun but have the tab extending under my chest to make it look as if it attached to it or the bun. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Ok so I just started over and built new ones. This looking more like it? These are a little tougher to make than I thought. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Ok so made a few adjustments, but....will need more of course. Working on making the pouches smaller. Trying to get 6x5x2. Right this they are 6x6x2. Still working. Still need to attach my holster and finish my TD. Question: Do my boots look too tall? Should I take them down about an inch? No padding for my helmet yet but they should arrive soon. Anything else you see that needs attention? Going for basic approval for now. Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

It's actually still a little wide. Guess I need to keep trimming Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk

Hey Stroker! So I took your advice and wow! What a difference just in the look of the pouch! In the photo, the pouch on the right is the original size (which I bought from a Garrison member) and the left is after I trimmed it down. Plus now the flap actually reaches the bottom of the pouch! Thanks man! I will make adjustments and repost photos!! Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk
