Ok last question. when you do the suede on the thighs is visible stitching ok or does it need to be hidden. I've seen a lot of professional made suits where they put it in the inseam. Just curious if I can sew it on like a patch or if I need to sew it in all the seams. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I am going to hand sew the leg pieces and the flap. Is there a guideline to where it needs to cover. I'm getting 2 yards so invade I mess up but going to attempt a paper pattern first. Any advise is welcomed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok easy enough. Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is there a specific placement for the elastic straps that go on the under suit on the thighs ? Seems to be the easiest first step in sewing onto my wampa wear suit. Any help is appreciated thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

so for some reason the vinyl on this boot shrunk some. I'm thinking this is no big deal due to this will be covered when I do the calf piece and the bow on the front. What say you ? Is it going to be hidden and no big deal or do I need to start over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

so when you glue the toe piece and do the trimming. Do you trim above or below the little bump above the sole? I know the 1/2" strip will cover most of this but still like to ask. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's all good. I'm sure you were texting while trying to miss trees 😜 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you 😊 turning the heat in the truck on high and cranking it did the trick for getting the stretch. Now I just have to stare at pictures for a while so I can figure out the cutting of the soles with my dremel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

so here is my second attempt with the flat laces and the speed laces removed.

Ok so just dead holes got ya. I bought 3 yards of vinyl so I can afford to start over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will swap out the laces that's no problem. When you drilled out the speed laces do you even lace it at all though the holes left behind ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

this was the first stretch then I let them sit over night. then we had no sun here in Baltimore so I cranked the heat in the truck and baked that vinyl. Pretty happy so far. I'll let these sit a day to hold the memory then commit to glue. How's it looking from any pros ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was told it's personal preference. But you should get the boot kinda fitted before glue comes in play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So just lace em up from where you do the toe piece up to the top of your boot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok so how many of y'all left the laces in when you glued the toe piece on ? I want to see how many leave it and how many remove it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
