I used the tool pocket from the side. It is pretty much the right size for the collar.

Thanks for the info! I didn’t have any trouble sewing the tops. For some reason the smaller pieces were getting stuck in the feed dog. They go pretty straight up. Photo must me an odd angle. I’ve really been taking my time with these, but something has gone awry pretty much every step—even if only minor issues. These have been a bit of a pain! Will be glad to get them done for sure! Hello, I didn’t stitch the two lines into the “bone” piece that goes over the seams. Boot tutorial says is optional. My sewing machine kept eating the vinyl when I tried to do it, so I’ve not added them at this point. I can still do it by hand if I really need them, but don’t want to ruin them at this stage if I don’t need to do it. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
