Endor 40th Reunion - June 3, 2023 8AM (Cheatham Grove)
ScottF replied to BikerScout007's topic in Announcements
Oh, no. I just broke my foot! I won't be mobile by then. -
KriptonTop on Etsy sells all soft parts. I got my flak vest from there. Shipping was expensive but it looks great.
-
I’ve used rubbing alcohol diluted with water
-
Approved today! Thanks for all the help here! I am not sure when/if I will apply for lancer at this point. TB-71019
-
Good ideas, thank you!

What is a good way to connect the chest/back pieces? I've tried a few different straps, but i can't get my hands in there to tighten things up. My arms just don't bend that way.
-
Nice! I am very close to submitting for approval. I have an X-wing pilot suit, this will be my first for 501st.
-
How far are you from completing yours?

Lens installation...heat bending?
ScottF replied to jwnikita's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
I put mine in hot water and it bent great. just be careful not to leave it in there for more than a second or two at at time. -
Thanks! I didn't have them attached to the cummerbund well when I had that on today. It was a bit of a rushed dress while I had help here. This is a lot more to wiggle into place than my x-wing costume!

Imgur worked. Thank you!

I know that there is an issue with the camel toe. i can shift it up higher.

Been away from this for a bit, but...do i need to trim the holster down at all before I attach it or does this look ok? thanks! I'm over my upload limit? I can't add anymore photos. Here is a link https://drive.google.com/open?id=1X6wXc_TCKEmne39zuCVu0JVcrKRr1jpM

I used a blue water-soluble sewing pen and drew very light lines, then dabbed them off with a damp wash cloth.
-
I had this printed out, so I redrew it in Illustrator. I hope it helps: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ixKJB0-1LEQf37XjOTnoLG4oZnD53Cqv/view?usp=sharing Please let me know if you see anything wrong...

Yes, there is a bump out where it attaches. I will move it out some before i rivet. I appreciate all the feedback! More progress coming soon I hope!
-
The CRL image shows the greeblie close to the back. I’d never be able to get a rivet into the back if I move it out? Doesn’t the rivet need to go through the greeblie? Tank topper is secured with single metal colored rivet in the center of the greeblie.
-
Hello, Does the greeble look good where it is at on the tank before i commit to a rivet to the back plate?
-
It’s 10” - thought it would be ok if it went behind the belt and the chest piece some to avoid that gap?
-
I guess I should start posting my progress here so I can get some feedback! This is the cummerbund progress. the crotch piece is only pinned on.

Thanks. As careful as I was trying to be I can’t believe I reversed them!
