Okay, I'm going to throw a curve ball out there. This may be the closest match of all to two of the reference photos. I give you -- Marble.

I pulled some swatches from each of these photos and compared them to these colors. The closest matches are from samples 1 and 4 and they are both with Polar Blue. The Polar Blue seems to have the most gray in it. If we were to go by the color on the Black Series figure, we'd be looking at something more in the grey tones.

Thanks for doing the testing on this. I'd agree that the Polar Blue looks closest to what is represented on the figure and on screen. Flipper is probably a close second. I'll have to see if I can find the Polar Blue someplace.

Any hope of a CRL getting approved before these troopers show up (if they show up) in the parks?

Just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for 3D files to print a Biker Scout helmet and armor that would be 501st approvable. One of my friends is looking to join the 501st as a Biker Scout and this seems like it would be a more cost efficient route for the helmet and armor since he'd just have to pay for the filament.

Looking at it more closely (and the Mountain Trooper in the background which appears to be just the same one with its image flipped), I see that now. That's too bad about it falling through. I wonder if we'll ever see them in the parks. Would be a shame if we didn't. I really like the idea of a park exclusive trooper and then having the 501st being able to bring a little bit of Batuu to some events.

I found this concept art for Galaxy's Edge that uses the Mountain Trooper. It came from this site here: https://milnersblog.com/tag/mountain-trooper-episode-ix/ Perhaps that can be used as another source. Any word on when / if the Mountain Troopers will be coming to Galaxy's Edge? I've been to both Batuu West (July '19) and Batuu East (Jan. '20) now and sadly both times there weren't very many characters at all roaming around.

I've picked up the Hardy gloves from Harbor Freight. Not bad at all.

How soon is soon, though? Why didn't they finish reviewing it before the announcement was made? I've looked at the other CRLs and it shouldn't take that long to finish their review. I'm just lucky that my kit only arrived Oct. 31 a few hours after the announcement had been made and the other items I have or have ordered are confirmed to be what was used in the movie (such as the boots and ammo pouch.) I would like to start working on it this weekend so it can be ready for Dec. 16.
