Got my helmet back together. Set up my sewing machine to sew on the butt flap, and now can find the but flap that i measured and cut a few weeks ago...ugh. None of the other pieces I have left are big enough. I think I got it from Tandy, but can't remember. It has been a while. Tandy's page has so many choices...does anyone have a recommendation. Hopefully I find my piece, but I might have to order more.

It could just be in my head. I did just return from living in Japan, where it was very hot during the summer. But, never left it in the car or anything. If the ear holes look good to the "pros" here, I am gonna reassemble it. I will post a picture once i get it back together. I was going to line the inside with black duck tape. It that acceptable instead of painting the ear hole areas?

I feel like my helmet has widened or flared out a bit. Is that a thing? Can I just heat it up and reshape it? next thing is to assemble the soft goods. I have all the parts just need to get Velcro on and get the cod piece attached. Hopefully full kit photos coming soon.

Long time, no update. After a move from Japan to Virginia, I am back in the game. Got my vest/ cummerbund, codpiece in from a vendor. Now to tackle upgrading this helmet. Finally gonna cut out those ear holes. One phot shows the sticker that come on the helmet, the other my proposed cut out. Suggestions?

I need to rebuild my boots and the Kingshow boot is getting hard to find. Does anyone have a good replacement suggestion?

Soft goods from Kriptontop have finally shipped. I am settled in now in VA and in contact with the garrison here. I still need to but the suede flap on the butt of my flightsuit, and then start assembling for corrective suggestions. Getting excited.

Broke down and ordered from Kriptontop. Just not enough time to build this stuff out. Those should be the last pieces I need. I am currently in the process of moving from Japan back to the states and hope to get everything in and submitted for approval by the end of summer.

Ok. I am thinking of getting the vest and cummerbund/cod/pouch set from KriptonTop on Etsy. Anyone have any experience with them? Does their stuff meet approval specs?

Size 10s came in this week. Now to start notching those souls. Lol. I need to get cracking on the other soft parts as well. Taking a long weekend this week, so hopefully some updates, and I am sure questions.

Pulled the laces out. It did give me a little more room. Still ordered a 10.

Boot build status. Need to add the dog bone still. These will end up being a practice boot unfortunately. They were a little snug at 9.5 now they are almost impossible to get on. Ordered a 10. Oh well. Love and learn. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thanks for the photo advice. I have the toe covers for the boots stretched and pinned. Hopefully going to get that glued down this weekend and work on the "tubes". Is there a template for the dogbone? I saw somewhere that the mid section is about 5cm and the ends about 8cm. you guys/gals rock! 🍻

Did a test fit of the armor, i can already see that velcro patches to hold plates in place are a no brainer. Also started on the boot covers. If i can figure out how to chance the size of photo files, i will upload some pictures. 🤣

BBB day! Jumpsuit came in also. Hopefully going to be a busy weekend. 1st question. The jump suit has pockets in the front. Like pants pockets. do I need to alter them? Already removing the back pockets.

Hold-out blaster came in today from Luna Armor Works on Etsy. Getting really excited.

Base boots and suede came in today. For the base boot I went with the Kingshow. For the "teeth" cut out of the sole, is there a certain template? Or is it just get the pattern it as close as you can? Cheers
