  1. I bought it all as a kit from someone else. Everything else has been a great fit so far. I guess I'll have to try to sell them and order new ones; I've spent my entire budget already.
  2. I know it’s Sean fields, but not sure what version.
  3. Which strip is the cover strip? Mine are printed as one piece.
  4. I have a question about the forearm armor. I got my kit in the mail yesterday, and everything seems to be a good test fit except the forearms. They are slightly too big in diameter at the wrist, and several inches too long (they go from the back of my hand to past the elbow, effectively overlapping the bicep). The CRL states that you must have 12 recessed areas on the armor, but it also states that we may cut down the armor due to size restrictions. Does this mean I may have fewer than twelve recesses as long as it fits me properly?
  5. Maybe this is a stupid question, but for basic approval has anybody every used corduroy fabric?
  6. I am in the same boat. I've been looking at corduroy cotton fabric. Has anyone here used that before? Seems like a simple way to go.
  7. Hey guys. As I am on a pretty tight budget, I am currently trying to do as much of my shoretrooper squad leader on my own as possible. Regarding the undershirt: I have located the correct material, and I have experience with sewing. However, I was curious about the ribbing on the undershirt. In pictures, the ribbing looks thick or puffy. My question is: can anybody tell me how many layers of fabric are typically sewn together to make the ribbing, and also whether or not there is another type of material (thin foam, etc) between the fabric to thicken the ribbing?
  8. Hi guys! I'm looking to join the 501st as a shoretrooper, and am looking for an armor kit. I've found a guy named Donovan on etsy, store name is Project501. He has 3D printed, custom fitted armor kits, and I was wondering if anyone else here has experience with his products.
