Hey everyone - here's my first test fit. I think the cummerbund is a little too short. I'm a pretty big chested guy, though short at 5' 7'', it's difficult to get the pouches to stay high above the belt. I think with a taller cummerbund (maybe only an inch higher) it will give me a little more wiggle room. Also going to take in the suit, A LOT. The SC armor is probably a little bit better suited for smaller chested guys, but Jeff's customer service has been incredible, so I am not regretting the decision to go Studio Creations for a second. My Altmanns helmet will be here this week as well! Anything else you guys are seeing?

I don't think it's allowed for Lancer, but my goodness is it pretty. Chose to go with a silver filament for natural "metal" weathering, going to primer it black tonight!

Hey everyone - I'm curious to know where you've reinforced your armor? I'm getting a few extra strips of ABS and per the Panda tutorial, it looks like he reinforced the chest and back armor, but for you more seasoned scouts - where have you had cracking or fixes?

Hey guys - as many of you know the Studio Creations Scout Helmet comes with a completed "dome" top. Once you ABS weld the back of the helmet to the cap, there's a lip where the two pieces meet. Of course, with other vendors this is a non-issue due to the middle-split, but what have other scouts done with their SC helmet? Do you fill the lip and buff it down? or leave it? If you have some photo references of this specific part, that would be awesome. I just got my BBB yesterday and am thrilled to get started but definitely want to make sure I do it right.

Hey guys - couple questions: I have a set of SC armor coming tomorrow with helmet. Out of fear of screwing something up, I ordered an Altmann’s helmet as well. Questions I have are: 1. Will the Altmanns and SC combo look odd because they aren’t painted the same? 2. Will the Altmanns fit me? I’m a 7.25 headsize (22cm) - I see that these buckets are larger. Looking forward to building tomorrow.

Hey everyone - I've been reading the forums, and want to pose this question: I plan on carving the soles out for Lancer status, but want to make sure this "duo-tone" sole will be acceptable.
