Trimmed the boots after glue. Boots after finishing strips added: Also spent some time on the suit. Seam ripped all the pockets as required. Boot toppers are next. Queueing up all the sewing. T-Strap assemblies and boot topper velcro are coming up.

Does this side pocket stay or go? I ask because this one might be a little tricky to remove - I would have to split the leg seam to get it all it looks like.

Some progress today. Worked on boots. Before heat gun and stretching: After round 1 of stretching. Looks much better. Did 2 more rounds then glued. Curing overnight. I will post photos tomorrow.

Bucket arrived yesterday. Altmann with new snout, new light gray stickers, and new light gray visor bolts. I can do a few more pictures tonight if anyone is interested in seeing more. Its currently naked on the inside so I need to figure out what to do for padding to get the fit right. Have another thread in the 'Helmet' forum for that.

Hello all! My bucket arrived from down under. I have been searching threads for how to insert padding or something else to get the right fit on the helmet so it isn't flopping all over the place. What are some good suggestions for finishing off the helmet on the inside? Thanks!!

My lovely wife took on the assignment of making the cummerbund and the cod. Here are some of the WIP of those: Found the duck cloth at Joanns. I got exactly a yard and I am not sure I have enough left for pouches. I will need to make another run to complete the task. At least I know where it is now or where it is supposed to be.

After months of lurking and asking questions its time to start my own build thread. Today is also brown box day. These TB boxes aren't that large but its exciting just the same. The real shame is that today was an armor party with my local squad. The armor that was supposed to arrive yesterday was waiting for me when I got home. Can the shoulder straps be elastic, but wrapped in duck cloth to cover it? If the elastic is not visible on the shoulders does it matter? Thanks!

Do you have to remove chest pockets if they are underneath cummerbund, vest and armor? If they are unseen does it matter?

How far up the shoe do we need to apply glue on the toe section? Is there a guide for this part? From other build guides lit looks like mostly the toe section and the sides.

Hi all. I picked up a RedKap suit so I could try sizes. The shoulders, chest and torso seem ok but the legs are about 3 times wider than necessary. Is this common? How much do you usually need to take in on the legs?

What kind of shape do you do for the toe? Did you just make a paper template and then go from that? Boot tutorial was a bit unclear on this also. Don't want to leave it too short so the dogbone won't cover.

I see what needs to be done for the riding area and the mudflap. Is there a good example of what needs to be done to the collar of the RedKap? I am not sure I have a solid understanding of what is needed there.

Is there no system for fans like there are for the TK helmets? Do the helmets need air flow in the heat like the TKs and other characters?

Where would one find a 2 piece suit to compare to the RedKap?
