  1. I would take an average of How long people Tell you it took to build theirs and then assign a reasonable hourly rate. Take into account if you've made other similar ones and would be faster. I had someone else edit my flight suit and create my soft parts and it still easily took me 30+ hrs to assemble my biker.
  2. I have an SC as well. After I got the ears and visors cut out and the bolts drilled and attached I struggled with gluing the different pieces together. So I reached out to sc and they let me ship it back to them for final assembly for a percentage of their $200 cost for full assembly since I had already done the time consuming parts. If you struggle with that part I recommend that option. Here is the link to the photos and videos of my entire build. Maybe there are things in there that would help. https://photos.app.goo.gl/JKRNPoHS6yj68aM89
  3. Dremel's are your friend. Either way, you'll do the last 1/4-1/8th of an inch with sandpaper.
  4. I haven't found that at all. I usually get more love than the TK's I'm with. Recommend getting some accouterments. They love my DLT-10x with the scope, putting on my binders for photos and the Ewok I have in custody in a pouch on my back... Next on the list is some macro-binoculars. Need a spotter when I'm with another Scout and something to use at no blaster events.
  5. Here are some photos of my helmet audio. All inside the helmet. https://photos.app.goo.gl/NG2pfM6NpBJJNG4a9 Can order it from ukswrath for $150 here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/539532269/ukswraths-biker-scout-helmet-audio?gpla=1&gao=1&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=shopping_us_a-electronics_and_accessories-other&utm_custom1=e783df82-ae77-42e7-92bd-0651ef1019fc&gclid=Cj0KCQjwk_TbBRDsARIsAALJSObd6VDLb7KZCzuXvNxcR_acam-j0F5xW2I8R8y7AqMHBxQs2FUfixoaAvClEALw_wcB
  6. The comlink and binders are Disney, but only sold at the theme parks. So you either need to go to one or pay a little more and get them from etsy/ebay resellers. Com going for around $25. Imperial Binders around $20. My DLT-19 is a hyperfirm (b run) from HFx Productions. $275 w/shipping. Then I added a picatinny rail and a $20 scope. If you do the comlink, i suggest adding a short piece of white elastic cord to keep it in the belt clip or you'll be panicked about it falling off during troops. I can provide a photo if interested. Can you post a pic of your armor? I've only done 7 official troops over the last couple months so take these thoughts for what they are worth. Is it the costume or what interactions you are having that are making it less enjoyable than you'd like? Do you run chatter? I have the bluetooth imperial comlink on my belt. I run the chatter through it as well as calls and text notifications. Lets me stay in character and gives some life to the costume. A set of binders can be fun with the right individuals. Make sure it's their idea and it fits the vibe of the event. I love my DLT-19 sniper rifle w/scope at events that ok blasters. My speaker grieble on the front of my helmet is my voice speaker. Small amp sits on top of my head. All self contained in the helmet. Trooping with other TKs and TBs can be more fun than being the only one. Easier to get into character and have some fun with the role.
