Remember seeing this somewhere in the 1,000's of threads I read. Drilled out my top rivets and put in some velcro strapping with new rivets to help support the weight of the holster. Does a great job! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am working on Jango and she made me a great girth belt. That is all I have bought from her. She has a facebook page which has a lot of her work on it. Great communications and delivery on her promised time line. Good luck Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

So, the belt is one piece with a single rivet on each end, but there are no requirements on the webbing to be one single piece through both drop boxes? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Certain color of gray for the snout piece?

I used gray primer on the snout and visor bolts Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I cut mine as well - but I didn't go for Lancer on this build, yet - so would be interested if that is the case for Lancer Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thanks for the feedback!! Yeah, after getting a ways along in this build, I wish I would have not riveted my belt and added the 2nd rivet to the tank top. If I go back and pull the rivets on the belt and switch to some E6000, is there a suggested way to fill in the holes to match? I have used sludge, but the color is dull in the end, might be so small that it is unnoticed. Suggestions on hiding the tank rivet? I am assuming that you are speaking of the white one? Thanks again, this is my first build and learning is exciting!! I never take it as anything else. Will not be my last for sure. ronnie -

Ammonites and Stasz - knees done - thanks! Will hold up much better, especially on long troops. rasman Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I just finished my SC build great stuff - mine arrived in about 4 weeks - you should concentrate in the soft goods first, seems it is always a longer lead time - SC has some the quicket ship times I have seen for armor of any kind

Yep. SC on the lid and armor. Good advice on the flare. Hadn't dawned on me that it was the reason. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I agree, rivet gun ready. Had to order some 1/2 inch elastic. After walking around a while for the first time, I totally agree. Hugger or Crash? Little of both. 😎 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I would even up those pouches. Take some display board (foam board) type material - hard thin corrugated - and make some boxes to slide in the pouches. This way you can make them identical outside of the pouch and once you insert them, both pouches will be exactly the same and clean and crisp. Leave the top open so you can slide your wallet and cell in. I know you are ordering new drop boxes, make sure they are even and about 1 1/2 to 2 inches below your belt. First timer here, so sorry if this is a silly question. The pouches don't need to be a certain size? If I cut them down, are you thinking length or all the way around? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pre pre-clearance First time I have had everything on! Feels great to be close!! A lot of tweaks and firming up to do. Anything really off at this point let me know. I do have a baklava. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best way to post pics is to open a photo bucket account and upload your pics to it. Then simply copy the link and paste in the forums. There are plenty of tutorials out there as well. Good luck!

SC utility belt HELP needed!!!

Jim - I am down to the belt being left to complete my TB - can you PM me with the details on the belt - it's a bit confusing - a lot of different opinions out there - not going for Lancer status with my first build, yet Thanks -
I prefer the ease of the double zipper after a morning of coffee. Make sure your flight suit has one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
