Well.. I have been working for a few days on it now, but I'm still disappointed with the result I get. I tried to trim and to work on the screw, on the hole... I still have a gap I don't like. Here are some photos : I think I'm going to give up with trying to get better...

I didn't find the time necessary yet. I'll show you what I have done with my tank as soon as possible. Thanks again for all your help
-
Ok Thank you ! I will post new photos once the tank is modified.
-
Thank you for your help Chef. That's was a part of my question. As I had been told MLC used to fit perfectly I wasn't sure it could be a good idea to trim. It is sure that I would prefer not to modify the tank, but I feel like I won't have the choice. As you can see on my new picture, even when I get the screw off the tank the top show a real gap too. (sorry if my english is approximate, I try to be the clearest possible :/)
-
Ok ! Then I removed the screw and try to get the tank lined up correctly. Now, it's the top that get a huge gap : thanks again !

Hi 01Hawk, Thanks a lot for your answer. The fact is I tried to slide it a little, but the screw located at the bottom of the tank will not allow it. When I don't put the screw in, it fit. Should I leave the tank with no screw at the bottom ? I can try to manipulate the screw again, but yesterday I didn't manage to get the tank in a better position...

Hi ! (again) I've read on different topics that it was accurate to have the tank with a gap. On mine (MLC) it seem to be more than just a gap, I'm pretty sure I shoul trim and cut some parts. Could you please tell me if I'm right ? Thank you for your time and help

Probably. All I know is that I got the gray and the white snout. As far as I can compare the two pieces, they seem to be the same. The only differences are color and length.
-
Thank you for your answers and help for these questions.
-
Ok ! Thank you very much spookymufu. Now I know I'm really stupid... The two Bolt covers were there. The fact is they have been paint and glued on the snout piece ; to get them I had to damaged them because of all the paint that made "one only piece" of them.
-
Thank you. I found it They are damaged but I got them !
-
Thanks anyway
-
Congratulations... You may help me then I would like to know if you got some screw covers with your helmet because I didn't...
-
Excuse me... With the cover, I really feel like I'm dumb or blind... Could you tell me exactly to what the screw covers should have been taped ? Everything in the brown box have been looked at... I'm pretty sure there wasn't anything like this with my helmet.
-
Thanks again ! Yes they both came with MLC helmet. I guess one may be the old version and the other the latest version of the helmet. So, I guess one should be more accurate. If you want I can get a better picture of the two items. We can't really see the details.
-
Thank you very much. I'm going to look after it because I don't remember seing it in any place in the Brown box.. :-/ What about the second question, anyone ?
-
Hi ! I have two questions about this helmet. First : I feel like these three items are the only ones that come with the helmet when you buy it, Am I right or did I loose something ? If yes, that mean I should buy stickers (from Trooperbay) and pieces that hide screws ? Second, what piece should I use between the white and the gray one ? thank you in advance for your help !

Hi there, I've used a professional spray for car. I needed 7 coats to get the result shown on the picture. I've been told this white should be the brightest. The fact is, I feel like I'm far from getting the same white as the armor parts. thank you for your opinion.
-
If he is honest he should provide any one who got this kind of yellowing plastic with new parts.
-
It seem to be usual. But as a lot of armors are now yellow you may think about cancelling your order...
-
Has he been told for that ?
-
Should I try a spray that I have never used or stay with brush I'm familiar with ?
-
Thank you very much for Your answer Steve ! I'll look for a acrylic laquer.
