Won't sanding it off leave the abs all scratchy? That's why I held off on doing that. And if not, what grade would you reccomend to remove?

So I REALLY screwed up painting my helmet snout.. Then I tried fixing with gloss white paint.. Didn't help. Any ABS friendly paint removers? I'm thinking of just taking it to an auto body paint shop and being done with the painting piece once and for all...

Awesome!! Ive made some Halo Spartan armor pieces the pepakura way. Its a long process, but very satisfying knowing you made it (almost) from scratch. Il be interested to see how it turns out.

Decided to put some of the decal on the tank today. How does it look? Also Worked on strapping for the arm pieces/knees.

So Ive started on my build and have been tinkering with the helmet. Ive cut out the lens area, but is even/symmetrical? Ive been staring at it so long Ive been second guessing myself.

How did you position/ keep the dome in place for gluing? I just got this kit and am trying to figure out the best way to tackle it. Also, is there any real way you found the front part of the dome should line up near the pilot holes?

Hey everyone. Just thought I'd post up seeing as I've been placing orders for all the parts! I don't have any of the parts yet, but most has been ordered. Il be posting up with progress reports, hopefully pretty regularly. I'm aiming at having it completed by Halloween and maybe a local convention, but I may be dreaming. I do have a fair amount of free time however Armour/Helmet: Ordered (SC) Gloves: Ordered Boots: Ordered Soft parts: Riding suit ordered, still trying to find a Cummerbund
