i researched for a year, then got the money, even borrowed a friends armor and trooped with them. finally ordered my SC, was shipped the NEXT day and is very nice.

well, its been too long and I finally have my kit to work on. how does this look?

thanks for the info, thats why i asked before buying. im working on my SC kit and it comes with silver bolts that i could paint, but want a setup that will allow the visor to stay open.

any idea where i could find them cheaper? i checked a few places and that was about the average price.

got mine from kmart, online for under $30

couple of different choices for flight suit but they need some modification. or if you can sew, theres some patterns you can search for to make your own bund, but theres a few people here that might be able to get you into one for a small fee

im making mine now. its honestly not that hard,, and much cheaper

i thought so too. When i went to an armor party over the weekend I asked about it. On the site it shows Im registered but dont have access. They told me it would be approved when I get legion membership. Oh well, I got you guys still LOL

I am going to go for Lancer right off the start. even though its my first build, i feel confident in making that happen. I was feeling pretty good about my bucket choice, then read some dis-concerning news about one of the vendors. So I'm on the hunt again LOL It sounds like a personal choice so far, but want most screen accurate that I can get for reasonable price.

where is this MLCv3? dont think i saw that one yet. I met with members of my area yesterday. great group and there were a couple of scouts. The group pic even made the 501st FB main page today. They were nice enough to let me see the armor when they changed out. seeing the armor first hand really helped and it doesnt look as tough as is does in pics. both scouts there had KS kits. I guess it comes down to preference, but i want to hit lancer status with the initial build. don't want to go back after the fact.

thanks, i did see the lone wolf version. i wear 7 1/8 hat, so not sure how that translate, but pretty normal size melon.lol

thats my thought too. but ive read alot of debate on color, fit, and price on other helmets.

Hi guys, I'm finally able to get started and I'm leaning towards SC armor. They offer the combo with the bucket included for an extra 2 bills. So after reading threads for the past two days, I'm wanting more opinions on bucket choice. I would like you guys opinion on Moncal, SC, KS, or any others you guys have and recommend. In the SC site they recommend another brand for some reason. The rubie. Not sure why. Thanks guys.
