Just managed to get the Speedglas headband into my lid and fits perfectly. Much better than the padding method IMO.

I am intending to fit the Speedglas headband as well. I did find these photos on a build someone posted on the RPF of a lone wolf helmet. Seems you need to cut part of the fixing strap and rivet it just behind the visor hinge point. Hope they help. Will give John (LW) a nudge as I know he fits them in his helmets.
