  1. Wohoo! Got the gloves now too http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/204/glovesk.jpg/
  2. But E6000 can be used in stead of epoxy for the T-bits, greeblie and tank topper, no? Hope so, because I've got some E6000 but no epoxy
  3. Thanks Andy! Yeah, I'll change the nylon to cotton, just need to find it somewhere.. Has to be the right width
  4. Great! Thanks
  5. By the way, how much E6000 do you guys think I need for this?
  6. I aim for the best
  7. Thanks everyone! I'll be posting photos along the way Yeah, I'll probably have to cut off quite a bit since I'm just 167cm hehe. The shoulders DEFINITELY need some trimming! Impossible to dodge trees with those beasts on my shoulders.. Think I'll need help with the trimming-part though, to see how much that needs to be cut off and draw up the lines, so I guess I'll have to wait a bit. I suppose it would be good to do the adjustments while wearing the flightsuit and vest? Means I'll have to hurry up with the temporary-suit-until-I-get-mine-from-LSFU
  8. So today I got my armour from StudioCreations! YAY! Can't wait to get started. Need to get some glue, some paint and cotton straps in stead of the nylon. Oh and hopefully there will be a workshop soon, so I can get some help adjusting everything Here's a photo
  9. Nice!!
  10. Oh wow... "WHAT TREE!" indeed! That flat helmet is so ugly it actually hurts to look at it. Thank you, Junglie Scout, for easing the pain by posting a GOOD photo
  11. Thanks guys!! I'll go for the LadySewForUs flightsuit (and vest) in the end, but that takes 6 months (2 months for the vest) and I don't want to wait that long. I should have everything else ready some time during the beginning of May so I'm just going to make a temporary-flightsuit to wear before the one from LSFU is done
  12. Depends on how much of a perfectionist you are I guess. In my personal opinion it may look a little "off" if everything is off-white and suddenly there's this bit of brilliant WHITE But you know... Whatever floats your boat
  13. Good thing about being a girl who's making a scout costume: staring at biker a$$es isn't awkward at all Having said that, I have a few questions.. In some photos the mudflap looks like it's fastened to the flightsuit on the sides as well (not just on top). Don't the lower corners flap around when they're not attached? And my second question: is the mudflap only made from suade or have you guys used some form of reinforcements to make it thicker/heavier?
