things I still have to do: boots (have items must work on them) suede into thighs and butt flap (have material) vest (have material) belt/drop boxes (very close to being done) thermal detonator greeblies (ordered) knees (very little left to do) holster (must get boots done first) I think that's it.....ufta It sucks they changed the requirements during my build, but that's life I guess.

I got my undersuit, still collecting other items though....and next time I'll take pictures in front of something else..

The stuff I've seen on the net is 35mm/1.5in I ordered it and it's closer to 1.5 then 35mm. I have not found any 35mm only.

Thanks for the info. In the lancer specs #13 it refers to the TK shoulder assembly. Does any one have a picture how TB's attach the shoulder lancer style? I looked into the TK shoulder assembly and they have a strap running from one shoulder to the other. Is that how we should do it? Or is it attached to the cross section of the chest armor? I guess I am a little confused. Thanks

Oh, one other thing? Did you use velcro to secure the elastic to the armor? If so what kind of glue did you use to secure the velcro to the armor? Thanks all!

Ok, just wanted to get your imput before I go any farther.....What stands out to you? How does it look? (Besides all the blue tape that is)

The changes are disappointing to me (in the midle of a build). I am going for lancer, but I really wanted to get my pathfinder status first, and get out there trooping. This does set that back a few months. The new things added are not (IMHO) iconic parts of the costume at all. Just my 3 cents (darn inflation) I guess I also disagree with the grandfather clause also If we all want to take pride in our costumes, then we ALL should, and not just the up and comming. How many pathfinders would that trim from the ranks?

I had a preconceived notion of how the biceps should look. It just took a little to get my head to accept the fact that they don't look like I thought they did. I will post pictures when I get somethings put together! Thanks all!

So I got my SC armor for Christmas, and I have "started" working on it. So far I have curved the belt a little more to properly fit around my waist. I have also trimmed the chest, back, and belt. And the third thing I have done is look at pictures for 4 to 6 hours. (2 hours just looking at the bicep armor...ug) Just starting a log for what I have done, and I will get some pictures up when there are any to show.

It's an MC snout. Do you have a link for trooperbay? I didn't think this went fast, I took my time on it, but I worked and studied it every night.

I used the KS decals I can take them off at a later date. Here it is almost done.

Just a few touch-ups left, but mostly all done! It is just over 1/2 a pound. What a lot of work, for one little pistol.

Thank you for the input, can I bother you for some more? I took about an 1/8' off per side, how does she look now? Also I thought that I read the people use Gloo to assembly their helmets, and that it can be bought at walmart, is this correct, or do you suggest something else?

I believe I am getting ready to assemble my helmet. I just wanted some input on how the eyes look. Tell me what you think, and thank you.

Well, I got to meet my local garrison this weekend, that was very cool. I also learned that the blaster I'm making fits perfectly in the holster. They were very happy with it's weight, one of them told me his other blaster was ripping the holster off of his boot, he also suggested I put a magnet into the grip, which would be very easy. So I started sealing it this weekend and hope to have it done in a week or so.

It's made out of perfect plank. And FYI it's not carving, I am a tool & die maker by trade, but I program and design now. All of this has been made on CNC's. Also thank you all for the nice words.

Just got the scope mounted today also.

First SW project, and thank you. I just got my KS helmet in the mail and will be working on that next. It really depends on how durable it ends up being. It's made out of perfect plank and there are some places I have to fill in that chipped out. Also, I have no idea if this fits the holster (on order).

Yes, I am machining it myself. I drew it up in solidworks, and programmed it in WorkNC.

I have just about finished my pistol for my TB. This first one is out of wood (since I don't know how it will fit in the holster) Componets Somewhat together
