Good to see ya back on top of the project, that sucks about the arthritis, some of my family members have rheumatoid arthritis. I have been thinking of dropping the BARC Project from my list because I'm too tall for the BARC, and the helmet makes my head look small...but I may keep going with it.

Just a little green up near the straps would even out the colors and make it look really good. I hope I didn't insult you, because I know I can't even paint a freakin' smiley face with an airbrush...

I love the paint job on all the parts except the chest. I don't know what it is, but I just the colors kinda clash... I could barely paint my own helmet, so I just need to shut my trap.

The visor that I used in my helmet is a Scott Brand Motocross visor...don't know all the details, but I did PM pghfett about the specific product number and such. But the outside is a bright chrome green and the inside is a very light blue, just like looking through a pair of glasses.

I know this is kinda off topic, but would my completed helmet be acceptable? The pics are in the helmet forum. Thanks, Phillip

Hi Dave...I'm so close to having my helmet completed...the only thing that's left is painting the back of it. Got everything done, except that, and I'm workin' on that this week.

I think so, since it comes as a replacement lense, if not, I'll just have to bend it into shape...but I'll definitely let you know when it comes in late this next week.

I appreciate your help guys, just sent the helmet off to another Mississippian who is going to do the camo for me. And I've got a solution for those with lens problems. I went down to my local Motorcyle/Motocross place, and I was able to order a chrome green visor from them. It's reflective just like the one in the tutorial, but the cost is kinda high at $30 each.
