Now I'm no caster but for asthetics I'd want the barrel with a rod - has too much potential to look a bit dodgy. Again, no expert but could the central barrel & extending muzzle all be one piece - maybe made from wood???? It would look good & if it could be inserted 3, 4, 5" into the stock it would also carry alot of the weight?? Dunno - like it though heh heh

Agreed with the chief - my armour, boots & bucket (in bag) are stored on a shelf at the top of my wardrobe. I hang the bund, flak & undersuit.

So I was lucky enough to be at the RS Propmaters studio & they showed me a spray-on dirt!! Different shades, etc. and can be washed off - they use it for the fett suits. Has anyone come accross this? Could be more accurate & less forgiving that the usual airbrush/watered down acrylic methods....

Everything lonewolf said - those visors rule. As fo heating it up - I just banged it in the oven (keep checking it) until it bacame maluable then held it round a pan/pot with a similar circumference bend to the inside of my bucket until it cooled......repeat until happy!! Defo worth the effort to see indoors
