You may want to check the BARC section. I believe all the people that have been involved with this project have been pretty well detailed in terms of identifying what materials and parts were used, or are being used in the production of a uniform.

If I understand correctly, you are looking into creating a clone trooper? If that is the case, I would suggest you go to clonetoopers.net or even whitearmor.net Those sites will be ble to give you the information you are looking for in terms of a Clone. If you are looking to do a Scout Trooper, or Biker Scout, then please take a moment to look through the different section on here. I think you'll find all the information you need there. I believe you are referring to the "mud flap". If I am correct, this is just a piece of black seude that covered the bottom. They look like pockets thanks to the strap of the cummerbund/codpiece comming up the middle of them flap. If I am incorrect, please correct me someone!

Even though I'm not one of the three that will be making the final decision, I think you have not only taken the idea of a lancer to heart, but have done an outstanding job with your gear. What about possibly something like this? These are called "Magnum Stealth II 8" Tactical Boot" Would these work at all? Just an idea.
