OK finished...at least as far as I can go. Snout on the way...bolt covers will prob make, after looking at the "real" thing seems to be gray vinal over a washer...Yes, no?

The screen vents and the pre-assembly...as you can see not a lot going on at the hobby shop today

...and gluing the face plate to the visor. Quite easy to do, a little glue and lots of clamps.

OK...Its glued and screwed Gluing was the hard part, used weld-on and CA glue and got through. Button head SS cap screws for the visor (gotta love owning a hobby shop) and it works well. A little more fine sanding and fitting and move on to the face plate.

Thanks for the advise...the balaclava is a leftover from snowmobiling so no loss, Ill pass on the boots and get some built. Ill ck out MLC for the snout and the 3M bolts. TMC

BTW...I have a black flight suit, armor is on the way (studio creations) will order the soft parts soon. What about boots? I found a set of used Cabots for a good price...will they work for now or should I pass? Gloves and balaclava:

Cutting and sanding is done.....a little fit and finish and on to gluing. See anything I missed?

Pull was pretty good by my standards...clean not very much flash, no warps, and nice glossy finish. And yes who has the new snout and bolt covers. Thanks, TMC

So here is the start of my build thread....any help along the way would be MUCH appreciated... KS helmet arrived today so lets get started the kit as it came. I start with cutting and sanding with my favorite tool...The Dremel tool. My TK build was made VERY easy with the Dremel and a cutting wheel and sanding drum.

Got my gloves today....in a word....AWESOME!!!
