I can stand by Marcel’s Boots. Mine arrived last week and they are amazing quality and very screen accurate! He has amazing comms and kept in contact throughout the whole purchase.

How is the Altmann fitment wise, have you had to put much padding inside to get it to sit correctly?

Definitely look on the vendor section as we have a fair few really good vendors who make our Scout helmet and all have really good reviews. Also look at the helmet comparison threads as that will also help you choose. Good luck.

This is way too big for a Handgun rearsight! The dimensions of the greeblie would not fit a handgun, and given the hand guns available for that era definitely wouldn’t fit. Even looking at rifles etc so a larger weapon, the dimensions are just too big. Just my two penneth from 15yrs in the armed forces!

Well my Polymer Armory Hero Blaster arrived yesterday and OMG it’s amazing! Has the weight and feel of a real pistol which is nice when holding because it has that substantial feel. Eric over at Polymer Armory was great too, answered all my queries prior to purchase and kept great comms afterwards until delivery. He even fitted rare earth magnets to help hold it in my holster.

Hey Wingspan that makes two of us with the Altmann on order. Mine I’m advised should be getting shipped out in a couple of weeks. If you don’t mind I may have to pick your brains about your WIP when I come to put my SC Armour together after my honeymoon.

Hi Wingspan great WIP so far! Just been looking at your helmet specifically the back where the Dome joins the main part. Is there supposed to be a gap there or is it supposed to be flush? Maybe a more experienced Scout could confirm for us? Keep up the good work though, I’m rather jealous how good your needlework is, I’m shocking when it comes to doing that.

Brilliant thanks Chopper! Probably me reading too much into it with being in the military as a Day job and having everything a certain way uniform wise. Also compounded by the fact I’m a Drill Instructor so push the limits of perfection with my recruits.

Thanks all, Further question, is there any correlation between the Rank Stripes on the Tank and the Vertical Black Stripes on the Helmet back left?

Hi all, Is there an easy way to affix the tank graphics? And how many Rank Stripes do people usually go for, and what is the Rank structure? I only ask the second question as I’m a Sergeant in the Royal Air Force and wondered what the equivalent could be? Thanks.

Well after much back and forth with searching the site and contacting a few people I was advised to speak to Spike. I did and I have now placed an order for a shiny new Altmann Helmet. I am now eagerly awaiting it ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Hey all, Has anyone had any dealings with the above mentioned vendor New Image Prop Replicas? I’ve seen they have a V2 Scout Helmet but was wondering if anyone has bought one or knows of any reviews etc.

Hey guys, Been going through my private messages from when I was last on here many moons ago and noted that I was advised to buy an MLC Helmet. Is this helmet still available to buy or is it still in production? Not sure if the creator was Marcel or Mardon? Any info greatly appreciated.
