I have the same issue regarding my new MLC helmet, iam also not sure on how to secure it properly.. anyway you did a great job on painting the snout area!

Great job so far!
-
They way i did it was to attach them to the inside of the chestplate, be sure to put some velcro in there!

The snout should match the bolt cover colour, the decals are a tad darkerd gray. So your good!

Drilling through an MC hollow snout
TB-8719 replied to automaton's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
The MC snout fits within the KS snout area, i modded my own KS with an MC snout and it worked -
I would be very interessed and excited to have a LW helmet for my new Scout project! keep us informed!

Daan congrats! finally made it

What Mrbungle said for the extra weathering technic is "misting" your armor after de camo paint is applied. You see it alot on Fett armor's, which is a great way to soften the colors up and it will add more depth and finetuning. Dont spray your paint directly on it but from a long way off, make sure your paint is a cloud of "mist" when it applies with your armor. I'll bet it will turn out great

Hello Chris, Berry here from the Dutch Garrison mate! How are you, long time no see Anyway, to hook in on your clone build and camo. The bottom left piece looks the best IMO, if you can add more tan and brown on it i think it will look alot better. Add the tan and brown on where it already is, just make it look sharper like what you did with the green. Anyway good luck with your build! iam sure it will turn out great!

Thanks everyone Iam verry proud to be part of the Lancer squad, its a great honor for me. I would like to thank the lancer command staff for getting me through the deployment progress. Also i would especially thank Marcel Nohl for his great weathering that inspired me to do the same to my armor. I will send a good picture to Madphisto asap Thanks again all! Berry

I removed the old bolts and inserted a flat nail head with a washer underneath it. I covered-up the old white bolt hole with a sticker and glued the top of the tank on the back of the armor. I hope its ok to go Picture:

I sewed new straps on the knee-armor parts, the previous ones were sewn with a snap on them. Hope they are correct now. Picture:
