Codpiece needs to be a little tighter in my opinion. Otherwise it looks great! It's always a pleasure for the eyes to see a weathered RS Scout.

Before i build my armor i weathered it. Easier to do, no paint on the straps etc and use some sort of test piece to try your weathering. Like the guys said before, this is the most accurate way to do it because they did it like this on the real costumes. In my opinion a weathered scout looks sooooo much better.

I was planning on coming back to the Legion and doing a ROTJ scout.. More i see this the more i want it! It has such an unique look to it.

Trooperbay is the size you need, i used them on my old KS.

They are correct this way Jasmine May i suggest one thing? Open up the ear-vents more, it should looks better. Other than that, your doing a great job so far.

Read this thread carefully Jelle, you can get them from DonJarr on Ebay.

I think one tube would be enough, your not building a stormtrooper. Scouts don't require alot of glue.

Awesome, i love my new MC kit, i also had a SC kit before this. I lightly weathered the "T" bits and i glued my new TD greeble on (With the help of an extra ABS plastic strip) Coming weekend my armor should be fully done. Your kit looks amazing Andy, i really like the LW helmet in the first picture! Excellent! Anyway, i just checked some shots from the film and noticed that they HAVE weathered t-bits.. I think i nailed the weathering spot on so far. Can't wait to see you new kit, iam pretty sure it will be amazing. Cheers,
