i spent a while today workin on the greeblies for my gloves. i still got to pick up some rubberized spray paint though, and paint them then atach them. so i gues that counts as a WIP Kashyyyk trooper haha. hey im tryin by the way im kinda scared to work with bondo for the bicept peices. ive never worked with it before and dont want to mess up my arms after getting my armor. aaahh

did you dye two separate time. for example first you would dye it brown. then you would dye it black.

i wont have access to a sewing machine as of this moment. since i am living in my dorm room now i dont have enough space. what should i do when i can get to a machine. Why does the cummerbund in this pic not have one.

i used this pic as a reference and didnt see one so i didnt even think about it.

this was my very first expirence sewing. at least with a sewing machine. i sewed every single strip on. it took a while but its very sturdy below: here is me pinning the first strip into place. below: the finished product after about 4 hours of work. im surprised how well this came out for my first sewing endeavor. its fits well and i like the look.

another question hahaha. i was planning on sewing my cumberbund this weekend. is that a bad idea? should i wait to get my armor so i know where it will hit the belt and chest armor?

yea i saw that. im ganna use his method for my belt. and i saw his "semi" tutorial. but your is grey and his is green. what should i do. and im still not sure how to set it up. pleats or elastic.thanks for putting up with all the questions.

so is you cumberbund elastic and fabric or just painted striped fabric or pleated fabric? how are the cumberbunds saposed to be set up?

so they should be on top when holdin the blaster. so they should be like yours (on the inside when your holding your arm out strait palms down) like this.

i agree with this as well. as i cant really afford anything else. haha. would it be acceptable dye these and use them.

I was about to order my gloves. and while trying to make a game plan for my glove build i got confused about the placement of the grey peice on the forearm. i saw that some people have them on the inside of their forarm and some have them on the outside. in this pic dave posted it looks to be on the side where should i put mine

i looked at this in person and its way to small. but the clone commander blaster looks prety nice. do you think it would pass with some mods.

mb i can honestly say that i am a huge fan of your work. it looks AMAZING! this is realy top notch. not only that but your alsost the same size as me. haha im 5'7'' 150lbs. yay for short troopers.
