Surprisingly, I initially used blue painters tape for mock ups, but it held the lens so well it is now "permanent". Haven't had any issues or the need to replace it after years and years of trooping.

Untied for me.

Hi Mel. Welcome back to BSN. Great to hear that you are thinking of doing a Shoretrooper in the near future. Best of luck!

Looks good. One thing that could be improved is the width of the tapered cod piece. It looks a little wide at the bottom, but this maybe due to the overall cummerbund being slightly long or riding too low.

Yep, my two helmets bought a couple of years apart didn't come with any lens. Had to get them myself.

Making kids even happier with something IN the pouches
bdgr replied to Letha's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
I usually have $20s and $100s and my pouches because that's how I roll . Just kidding. Besides my cellphone and keys, I usually keep a granola bar or fruit roll up in one of my pockets. I got the idea from Witness, so when I kid asks what's in my pouch, I can say my lunch/diner and show them after they think I'm joking. -
FYI - He now has some available on e-bay. I ordered mine and conversed with him via e-mail. He is a great guy!
