Thanks for stopping by Bama! It was good to talk to you again and get this little project worked out. I to am glad to see the detachments working together and getting things done. I have made arrangements with the folks over at www.clonetroopers.net that allows the Scouts to research and developed the 501st standards for the BARC troopers. While the BARC is a Clone trooper by definition, he is also a Scout. The great troopers over at CT.net are so busy with their various clone trooper costumes that they would not have the time to invest in another clone project. So that’s where we at BSN come into the picture. The EP6 Biker Scout is almost all finished up. We know almost everything we can about the costume. With BSN taking over the BARC, this gives us an opportunity to take on another Scout costume. So get the word out!!!! Let get the standards set and make a suit that we can be proud to call our own! Ok, look at this image... Looks like we need an ankle lenght boot with 2 peices of shin armor and a boot spat fo the toes. Or do you think its a leather boot like the regular scouts? What ya think???

Only one problem... the movie boot sole is tan or white...

Its close, but I was think more along the Jango Fett boot.... The Kenneth Cole ´Mount Kilimanjaro´ Boot. But they are no longer made. But then again, this is whee we may just have to find something semi close. Army Scout

Well the bad thing about this CGI stuff is it's all made up. I think we should find off the rack items to use if we can. This helps in soooo many ways. 1. Cheaper 2. Item availablity 3. Faster/Easier to get the suit ready. We need to be close, but we need to make it where the general population can obtain the right gear too. Army Scout

The caps do not show a black base. Just the camo patterns. So I don thtink we need to dye anything.

For the pant and top i think we could use an existing set of camo's The hard part is finding the right camo pattern. After doing some research, I think the Russians have a set that look kind of close. The CGI version - The Russian Camo - Flora VSR I think the Flora version is real close. Now some modifications will still need to be done. But I think it's a start.

Ok troopers, Let's get the BARC's in service. We have to take a digital charcter and convert him into a costume. We will need to work out all the parts and convert them into real materials. In all truth, the armor and helmet are easy, they can be scuplted. But the rest has to be researched. So lets start that! I have uploaded some high res screen caps to the gallery. We need more reference images! Marketing and promo stuff. If you have an image, please PM me so we can get it posted. Even if you dont plan on doing a BARC, your input is needed. Well I have deceided to come back to the 501st! I was gonna do a Beehive trooper, but then thought to myself...."I cant leave my Scout's!!!" So instead, I will be ramping up a BARC trooper kit. The reference gallery will be up soon and I see some have already started on the armor. If you plan on doing a BARC, lets put our heads together and get er' done!
